What I found here was something even greater\u2014a deep connection beyond language.<\/p>\n<p>25 years ago, I started my first gospel choir in Sendai with just 25 members. From that small beginning, gospel music slowly spread throughout communities, and today I lead gospel classes in 10 regions across Japan. Through this journey, I\u2019ve experienced over and over again the healing power of music.Then came the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
