The Book Festival aims at cultivating a reading culture, encouraging a positive attitude toward books, and promoting public literacy by supporting authors, publishers, and active readers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 12pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;\">B. Suvd, Journalist, Bibliographer, Editor-in-Chief of &#8220;Nomyn Yurtunts&#8221; Magazine, and the founder of the National Book Festival, remarked, \u201cThis year marks the sixth release of our recommended reading list. For the 2025-2026 academic year, we have curated a special list of 50 notable books focused on nature and ecology, comprising both Mongolian and translated works. We will be launching reading and creative writing competitions based on these titles, and we encourage students from general education schools to actively participate and become good friends with books. We have also partnered with \u2018My Club,\u2019 an environmental youth group, for the upcoming school year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 12pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;\">D. Serdaram, Lecturer at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and Founder of \u201cMy Club,\u201d stated, \u201cIt is heartening to see so many young people who love reading participating in this Festival. Together with the \u201cNomyn Yurtunts\u201d Magazine, we carefully selected a list of 50 environmental and ecological titles after many discussions. The list includes some truly fascinating books. I encourage everyone to read these works and share what they learn with others. \u201cMy Club\u201d has been promoting tree planting and environmental awareness among youth for over two decades.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 12pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;\">Since the 35th National Book Festival, the \u201cNomyn Soyolt Yurtunts\u201d NGO has launched the \u201cFriendship Program\u201d to enhance international cooperation, particularly with foreign publishers.
