Mrs. Asada, an Intimacy Coordinator, will speak about her views on gender and the importance of consent from many perspectives, as a person involved in the film industry, as a woman, and as a person raising a child. Ms. Asada graduated from University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1998. After working as an interpreter for US-Japan co-productions, film festivals, and overseas musicals, she completed the Intimacy Coordinator Training Program at the US-based Intimacy Professionals Association in 2020. Then, she became the first Intimacy Coordinator in Japan! Her most recent works include NHK Drama 10 &#8220;Ooku&#8221;. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
