番組紹介
架空の王朝「天盛」を舞台に展開される物語。公侯として前王朝に仕えていた寧世征は、悪政から民を救わんと決起し、数年をかけてついに「大成王朝」を倒し、新たな王朝「天盛王朝」を建国した。それから20年近くが経ったころ、王朝の内部では新たな波乱が巻き起ころうとしていた。
気品があり、端正な見た目を持つ第六皇子、楚王・寧弈はその胸の内で深い策略をめぐらせていた。他の皇子たちから無能な人物だと見なされている彼には、大きな野望があったのだ。権力の中心である皇宮に住み、権力者に囲まれながら、寧弈は野望を果たす一瞬の機会を虎視眈々とうかがっていた。時を同じくして、才能あふれる1人の青年が皇宮に足を踏み入れた。その名は魏知。その才気ゆえ、若くして周りの注目を集める傑物であった。だが彼の真の姿は、女性であり、その名を鳳知微といった。さらに驚くべきことに、鳳知微の正体は前王朝の遺児であったのだ。楚王と魏知、それぞれ秘密と野望を抱える2人はお互いを探り合いながらも慎重に関係を築いていく。そしていつしか、その運命は複雑に絡みあっていく…。
