I'm waiting for what ever the Nikon Z9H will be. Right now it's not even at a rumor level yet. Hoping for a 24-36mpix sensor so that you won't have to wait for photo software to update. 20fps, the ability to turn off all forced boost features. Photo stacking, and or IBPXS, hardware based 5-axis internal ibis (no b-$ never properly syncing sync nonsense), CF Express. No real point of a global shutter unless you need to increase your exposure time. Built in ND filter (like the D850 was supposed to have). I would avoid BSI sensors if the tracking is the that quick. BSI is slow when it comes to compensating for crosstalk and if all of the sensor is going to be exposed all at once with a global shutter you are going to get a-lot of ghosting and crosstalk bleeding if the exposure isn't quick enough. Even the Nikon D500 was a pain in the rump for that quirk.
Looks like an awesome camera designed for its professional photographers and not for everyone. The great thing is that in more affordable models these features will filter down and we all benefit from the technology whether you are a Canon shooter or not. R5 II looks like this is going to set new standards too along with some cinema models this year so finally Canon have pulled their finger out.
Naw, I have a strong feeling ai is always gonna suck. Hard. Ai enthusiasts are all the weird creepy people with no friends. Everyone else doesn’t give a shit about it in the slightest
‘You don’t need more than 24 mega pixels!!’ -tools who have never shot more than 24mp.
That R1 is a THICC BOY. Wow.
The camera in the thumbnail was something else. Crazy decision
I do not see a photographer jumping to a different brand for a different style of flip screen.
Imagine how many R1 videos are in the pipeline… especially if there are no models until 2025 🫠. Two Summer Olympiads [one 12 months late] in [expected] flagship absence.
It was spotted at Monaco F1, I asked an F1 photographer on their YouTube channel to look out for it as he uses an R3, the person with the camera, tried to keep it out of view. He did ask about it, only found out a few bits from sources around.
Canon please make a better camera than A1 so that sony is forced to do better. Thanks.
There’s some weird frame-skipping on the video or something that’s bothering me
The Canon R3 has "PRE-RELEASE" ? what is that?
seriously only 24mp
How does a bigger file size slow down a professional photographer's workflow? Are professional photographers unable to afford computer hardware from five years ago??
The 24mp is the reason I won’t buy it. Canon lost $6,500 unless they have an R1s in secret…
using photos taken with other cameras for marketing or even just technical copy is fraud. c’mon man, they can’t go out on a road trip one day to shoot and fix photos?! busch league
oh! wait, i also wanted to say i love your channel. i think fox or nbc or some network station should have you and Chelsea on for an hour every week!
Modelling years!?….Is there anything you haven't done yet, apart from astronaut hahaha
Glad it has a mechanical shutter @16bit
Sony is still way behind on sports cameras. A9III is niche for pros only. Also I want a tech review on CF Express A and B cards with is better technically also this includes the readers. I'm told you get different results with Sony card reader if you dont use Sony cards
These specs prove that my decision to go for the Nikon Z9 was a wise one.
Hooray.
