The reason why Gundam ZZ was foolishly hilarious at the first half was too enlighten the fans who got depressed by the ending of Zeta Gundam, and then by the time the second half went on, Gundam ZZ is like,
"Alright fans, no more funny stuff."
ΖとZZが小学生の時のリアルタイムアニメだった。兄が見ていて、私は女なのでメカより登場人物の心の動きに興味があった。子供だから意味が分からない部分が多かったけど、この2つのアニメで育った事がその後の自分の人生に大きく影響したと思ってる。

コーラスの囁きが絶品
ZZってはじまりがいまいち緊張感なく前作に比べてイマイチと思いながらも毎週観てたけど一話一話かけ算で面白くなってく構成とZの時から加わった前後半の曲の変化、終わってみたら両曲共に甲乙付け難い感じになってるとこ！わかるだろ?みんなわかるだろ!（笑）

このOPに変わった辺りから作品の雰囲気が本来のガンダムに回帰した感じになったよなあ。
最初のアニメじゃない！ってOP聞いた時はガンダムは終わったと思ったもん。

Fun fact: In the ZZ production team was a Brit guy named Boyce. According to statements he was a very kind, helpfull and admired coworker although very, VERY quiet. In his homage the team decided to do the second opening with a song named "Silent Boyce" however due to transcription errors the only version avaliable to us today is the one in this video and official media.
Gundam ZZ needs a new, decent English dub.
I wanna see BangZoom make it so!
