Originally from Liverpool, myself Andrew (The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife 8 years ago. We LOVE to travel and explore the world! We spend our free time showcasing the very best of Tenerife and our general life – as well as travelling abroad whenever we can!
IT’S FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY! Join me, Laura and Mum & Dad as we start our magical journey at Manchester Airport as we travel with Virgin Atlantic to Orlando International travelling Premium Economy, the class just below Upper Class. Filmed in September 2022.
We show the full journey and all the bits a travel vlog should have, with some tips and pointers along the way that may help you! We traveled via the new Terminal 2 at Manchester with Virgin Atlantic which was very nice. We also show if there are any delays with the security checks at Manchester. We were extremely lucky again and got to fly on Virgin Atlantics Newest Airbus A350-1000 aircraft called “Lady Emmeline”.
The flight went smoothly, exploring and showing the whole new Premium Economy cabin and new entertainment system. We also loved the “tail-cam” feature where you could watch a webcam of the exterior of the plane for takeoff and landing.
The flight was very fast, only taking 7 hours 53 minutes and before we knew it we were at Orlando International Airport. Customs area was not too bad and we were through to the Alamo Rental Car desk in just 35 minutes. We could not believe our luck and our timing! The Florida buzz hit us straight away as we arrived at our lovely rental villa in Windsor Hills. We then decided to get straight to Universal Halloween Horror Nights for a little mooch around with our frequent fear pass. All the way from Manchester at 6AM to HHN in the same day was a great feeling!
We rounded off the day with a quick walk around City Walk and a 2 foot long hotdog from World Famous Hotdogs.

My personal highlight was at 42:03. Where the guy in the background woke up choking on his own saliva and his wife starts whacking him on the back! 😂😂 Great Vlog as always, Can't wait for it to be our turn in 2023!!

Absolutely brilliant vlog, loved every second of it. Your mum and dad are great, Mick is so funny it’s unreal. The take off on the plane from Manchester was awesome. I’m really going to enjoy all the upcoming vlogs, they will make up for missing you and Laura in Tenerife a month ago.

The airport pub is lovely but we go to the aviation centre were concord is wich you can book a tour to go on it. They also have a bar in the restaurant. Great vlog enjoy your holiday 👍

The San Carlos in the airport was lovely – we were lucky and got there for 4am as they were opening so didn’t need to queue. We had American pancakes 🥞 They were delicious! As you say a bit pricey but we don’t mind on our holidays xx

Great vlog. Airport looked very quiet. Fair play to you heading off to Universal. We are not fans of HHN but can see the attraction. Love Universal. The 1st time we went to Florida it was September & the thunderstorms were unreal. Have to agree that Lydia & Mick are real troopers. 👏👏💕 We are 10 years younger & you wouldn’t find us heading to Universal on travel day. 😝 Have a fabulous holiday & look forward to watching all your vlogs. xx
Great video as always. Did you know that Premium Economy on the older A330s is actually a much better seat? They are 3 inches wider per seat compared to the A350. 👍🏼
