ehhh…that looked bland af. Keep in mind, likely no cgi monsters and special effects are done yet. So take this trailer with a grain of salt.
Also, yeah he was a cool Jason Bourne, and The Martian. But that only worked with him as a solo character.
I don’t see him as ‘strong’ or a great leader of men…AT ALL. Not one iota. From THIS trailer, he seems horribly miscast.
But, overall the trailer is kinda meh…so, we’ll see.
There’s so many wokies in the cast, they’ll probably bring the film down, with their script requirements & demands…but with Nolan directing, it might at least be an ok film at a minimum.

I’m skeptical …. The Odyssey has to be about the same length as The Lord Of The Rings trilogy extended editions. This cannot just be one 3 hour film …

It's kinda fucked that Family Guy, of all shows, used close to accurate Mycenaean era armor designs in their version of this, but Christopher Nolan just goes "ah they were all Romans I guess"
