To kick off a new vlog series, Gary and I bring you along for a very special travel day! I planned a cheeky surprise for Gary, in that I upgraded us to Upper Class! Be sure to see how the surprise works out.
During this vlog, you’ll see our pre-travel day at London Heathrow’s Sofitel hotel at Terminal 5. There we share a room tour, a look around the hotel and a review of what we thought of the hotel after a night’s sleep.
On our full travel day, we take a car to Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class wing. There we check in and get to utilise Virgin’s private security lane, as well as enjoy their Clubhouse Longe once in Departures. Whilst in the lounge, we show you an overview of the experience, including a look at the garden.
Onboard our Airbus A350 Virgin Atlantic flight, we share the new Upper Class seats, as well as a detailed look at the food, in-flight entertainment and our overall experience.
Once in Orlando, we take the Mears Connect service over to Disney’s Pop Century resort. This is where we stayed for two nights before boarding ths Disney Wish (which you’ll see in the next vlog). Whilst at Pop Century, we give you a full room tour, a look at the reception, merchandise shop, quick service, pools and some of the different buildings available.

The new Upper Class seat is a huge improvement on the old one! Hope you can try other airlines for future trips. BA Club Suites are probably worth it, or could compare World Traveller Plus to Premium Economy.

Pop Century was the hotel I stayed at one my trip back in May and I adored it. Would easily stay there again! I stayed in the 90s bit.

I binged all your videos during lockdown and decided WDW would be my next international trip (from Australia 🇦🇺) and I arrived into Pop Century on 28th July! So close! Thank you for all the tips throughout your videos; my 4 day flying trip was so easy, jam-packed and incredibly enjoyable!

Pop Century is very lush but a recommendation if you would like easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is the Disney's Boardwalk, it is walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and there is boats to take you to Epcot and Hollywood Studios in case you don't like walking it has a lot of evening entertainment and a lot of areas of eating (Pizza window is really nice). Its good to see you and the Gary C back to it :).
