「ビームス プラス（BEAMS PLUS）」が、イギリスを拠点とする「スタジオ ニコルソン（STUDIO NICHOLSON）」との初のコラボレーションアイテムを製作した。9月18日にイギリスのスタジオニコルソン店舗で販売を開始し、日本では9月19日からビームス プラス 丸の内、BEAMS公式オンラインショップ、スタジオ ニコルソン 青山、スタジオ ニコルソン 渋谷パルコ店、スタジオ ニコルソン公式サイトで扱う。
コラボではスタジオ ニコルソンの創設者兼クリエイティブディレクターのニック・ウェイクマン（Nick Wakeman）とビームス プラス ディレクターの溝端秀基がともに抱いているという“映画の登場人物”への偏愛から着想を得てクリエイティブをスタート。1960〜70年代のアメリカ映画に登場する象徴的なキャラクターたちに思いを馳せてムードボードを作成し、コラボアイテムに落とし込んだ。
「Made in Japan」のカプセルコレクションと位置付け、シャツやスウェット、コート、レインコート、パンツ、ネクタイなど全21アイテムを展開。スタジオ ニコルソンの代表的なシルエットに、チェック柄の裏地でビームス プラスのアイビー要素を加えた撥水ギャバジンツイルのトレンチコート「PETER RAINCOAT」や、セットアップでの着用が可能なスポーツブレザー「PAUL SPORTS COAT」とダブルプリーツパンツ「ALVY DOUBLE PLEAT PANT」などをラインナップする。価格帯は1万9800〜14万3000円。
