ジェームズ・ガン製作総指揮のDCドラマ『ピースメイカー シーズン２』は2025年8月22日よりU-NEXTにて独占配信！大塚明夫・水樹奈々ら人気声優陣が続投の吹替版も同時配信！
2021年公開の映画『ザ・スーサイド・スクワッド “極”悪党、集結』より初登場した“過激派ヒーロー”ピースメイカーの活躍を描くスピンオフシリーズとなる本作。
『ザ・スーサイド・スクワッド “極”悪党、集結』のほか『ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシー』シリーズなどを手掛けた映画監督ジェームズ・ガンが、前作に続いてシーズン2の製作総指揮・脚本を務め、そのうち3エピソードで監督も担当している。
今年7月に公開されたガン監督による映画『スーパーマン』では、本編中にピースメイカーがサプライズ登場し、多くのファンが期待の声を寄せている。ガン監督自身も映画『スーパーマン』と直接つながるストーリーであると明言しており、『クリーチャー・コマンドーズ』から本格始動した新たなDCユニバース（DCU）の中でも、今後を担う重要作として位置づけられている。
シーズン2では、タスクフォースX解散後のピースメイカーと「11thストリート・キッズ」の仲間たちのその後が描かれ、映画『ザ・スーサイド・スクワッド “極”悪党、集結』でピースメイカーが暗殺したリック・フラッグの父、リック・フラッグ将軍が登場し、物語は波乱の展開に向かう。また、前作から存在していた“次元ポータル”が、別の世界へとつながっていたことも判明。そこには、かつて登場したあのキャラクターたちの姿もあり、物語は新たな局面へと動き出すことに。
