自分にとっての最初のスーパーマンは
1978年クリストファー・リーブ主演の映画だ。
今からすれば、この【最初の】スーパーマンは
完全にファンタジーでコメディだった。
限りなく明るく、楽しさがあった。
次に見たのはマン・オブ・スティール。
これは完全にリアルに振り切って、
そこには笑いは全く無くなっていた。
（まあ、その後にバットマンと合流するし）
苦悩する主人公で、救いも少なかった。
それらを経ての今回。
登場人物の人間臭さと笑いが【戻ってきた】
と少し嬉しくなった。
クラーク・ケントは
犠牲者を出さなように苦労するし、
SNSや恋人との関係で苦悩するし、
他の超人の振る舞いに振り回される。
こっぴどくやられて
それでも復活し
弱みを握られて自分をひどい目に合わせた者を
憎むことなく、それでも助けようとする。
宿敵ルーサーは天才すぎて、悪者で、
ただ、女性を見る目が無さそうで【実はある】。
ルーサー本人はそれに気が付かないというオチ。
出てくる超人の人間臭さは
個人的にはとても好きだ。
この雰囲気で行けるならバットマンも観てみたい。
とても楽しく観ることができた。
今後も楽しみだ。
My first encounter with Superman was the 1978 film starring Christopher Reeve.
Looking back now, that first Superman was pure fantasy and comedy.
It was endlessly bright and full of fun.
The next one I saw was Man of Steel.
That film leaned completely into realism—
there was no humor to be found.
(Well, he does end up joining Batman afterward.)
The protagonist struggled deeply, and there was little sense of salvation.
And now, here comes this latest version.
I was glad to see that the human warmth and humor of the characters had returned.
Clark Kent struggles to avoid causing casualties,
he wrestles with social media and his relationship with his girlfriend,
and he’s thrown off balance by the behavior of other superhumans.
He gets beaten badly,
but still gets back up again.
Even when someone exploits his weakness and puts him through hell,
he doesn’t hate them—he still tries to save them.
His arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor, is a genius and a villain,
but he seems to lack a good eye for women—though maybe he actually has one.
The twist is that Luthor himself doesn’t realize it.
I personally really liked how human the superhumans in the film felt.
If Batman can also be portrayed with this kind of atmosphere,
I’d love to see that too.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film.
I’m looking forward to what’s next.
