ロックの英雄The Boss ブルース・スプリングスティーン、魂の原点へ…映画『スプリングスティーン 孤独のハイウェイ』日本公開決定！世界が「Born In The U.S.A.」に熱狂する前夜、彼に何が起きたのか？音楽映画の枠を超え、観る者の心を震わせる感動ドラマ！
大ヒットを記録した『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』(2018)の20世紀スタジオが新たに選んだ若き日のブルース・スプリングスティーンの物語。
2023年に発表されたウォーレン・ゼインズの小説「Deliver Me From Nowhere」を基にした『スプリングスティーン 孤独のハイウェイ』は、第82回アカデミー賞®で主演男優賞・歌曲賞に輝いた『クレイジー・ハート』(2009)のスコット・クーパー監督が、原作者のゼインツと脚本を共同執筆した作品である。
ブルース・スプリングスティーンを演じるのはジェレミー・アレン・ホワイト。TVシリーズ「一流シェフのファミリーレストラン」(ディズニー+)でゴールデングローブ賞テレビ部門主演男優賞（ミュージカル・コメディ部門）を3年連続、エミー賞主演男優賞（コメディ・シリーズ部門）を2年連続受賞。
マネージャー、ジョン・ランダウには、『アプレンティス ドナルド・トランプの創り方』(2024)で悪辣な弁護士ロイ・コーンを怪演し、2025年のアカデミー賞®、ゴールデングローブ賞助演男優賞にノミネートされたジェレミー・ストロング。
ガールフレンドのフェイ・ロマーノにオーストラリア出身の注目女優オデッサ・ヤング、父親役にはNetflix「アドレセンス」で話題のスティーヴン・グレアム。
そして「ブラック・バード」でエミー賞・ゴールデングローブ賞テレビ部門最優秀助演男優賞受賞のポール・ウォルター・ハウザーがサウンドエンジニアのマイク・バトランを演じている。
♪「Born In The U.S.A.」で世界が振りむく前、彼に何が起きていたのか？
全世界待望の映画『スプリングスティーン 孤独のハイウェイ』日本公開決定を受けてティザー予告が解禁された。映像は新車を購入する若き日のスプリングスティーン(ジェレミー・アレン・ホワイト)をとらえる。窓越しに「ハンサムな悪魔のロックスター。あんたのことを知っているよ」と声をかけられ、自分が少しずつ世に知られてきていることを実感する。続いてニュージャージーにあるスプリングスティーンの自室へ。エンジニアのマイク(ポール・ウォルター・ハウザー)と音を確認しながら「完璧じゃなくていい。部屋に一人きりでいる感じに」と指示してハーモニカとギターだけで「ネブラスカ」を歌い始める。
『スプリングスティーン 孤独のハイウェイ』は2025年11月14日公開
