#Explosion #scalemodel #mandalorian
This week, I was fully intending on making a normal diorama video featuring a Razor Crest with glowing LED engines and lit interior. After I messed the windows up permanently, I decided to pivot. I took the opportunity to recreate a different moment from Mandalorian, the one where Mando’s ship explodes.

  1. If you ever make a mistake like this ever again, you should make friends with the science YouTubers and send it to them to fully explode. Maybe the slow-mo guys? 👀

  2. M’um m’aloo, Eyeta (Helo, Friend)
mi name Dathcha, me clan needz Opakwa (parts)-from that Kaput Rocket thingy . you trade gave me ibana(yes)…

    – Awesome, Love your Vids as always.. Utini!!
    😁👍🏻👍🏻

  3. Personally I liked that the windows were foggy, made it seem as if the ship was weathered more. But also, fun explosion too. Great videos man! Always look forward to seeing them! God bless

  4. What is the purpose of what looks like an old toothbrush head stuck to the airbrush pot lid?

  5. „I called it almost good“ and deemed it so unacceptable that I had to explode it…
That says everything one needs to know about your quality goals…

  6. aw man, I hear you about the ruined glasses… as a kid I quickly retreated from using superglue for plastic models, the fumes would stain everything! though I guess here either the sprays' thinner, or the paint itself creeped in through gaps in the glue seam.
aside that my guess is that that rustoleum spray prevented the decals from sticking; I have yet to have an AMT decal set not to keep sticking like the devil to the innocent soul… (I didn't know AMT would distribute Bandai model kits. interesting detail there.)
I also used firecrackers on models that went bad, until a piece of plastic scraped my cheek… aside that they were rather expensive in the 70's and 80's, in comparison. it just cut too deep into my allowance. XD

also, looking forward to the finished diorama.

also also, get well soon! 😀

  7. Here's a tip with clear styrene, dip them into Future (or whatever they are calling it these days) floor cleaner, and let it dry, then you can use super glue on those clear parts without them crazing over! Or crazy glue the clear parts and allow them to cure before you close up the assemblies to paint, then it'll take about 2 days to cure and off gas the super glue just to be on the safe side.

  8. Hi Boylei! This video is amazing! I wanted to thank you because you gave me the motivation to start publishing my videos too, thanks to you I'm convinced. Your opinion would be very important to me, Yesterday a video about Star Wars came out that I dedicate to you! Thanks.

  9. Think of it as an alternate timeline where the Razor Crest had been left abandoned in the desert for decades and the windows were abraded by blowing sands.

Then these punk space kids came along and overspooled the hyperdrive just for clicks on their social media.

  10. Use Mod Podge or white glue to glue the cockpit windows in. Won't fog and will be good enough of an adherence.

  11. Pooor model. I don't get why people pay so much for a model or a figure and blow it up waste

  12. Back in the 80s my friend and I coated plastic toy soldiers in modeling glue and then sprinkled with gunpowder. We sat across from each other in the back field and tossed matches at each others formations. Good times. Dangerous, but good.

  13. im getting more specific with grogu. By the end of all of the mandalorian, on a specific planet, his full name is Sir Din Grogu

  14. Did you harvest the wreck for parts? Those engines on a larger scale.woukd look great on a Podracer. Also, are you sick? Get well soon dude!

  15. That brought back memories. My brother and I would build model ships and float them in a canal behind our house. We would build in cherry bombs, light the fuse and sail it away. Good times.

  16. Awesome idea for a video, sorry the windows turned out cloudy though! Will you ever show aftermath of the Razorcrest all burned?

  17. “The model didn’t work right, therefore, I must resupply my small wooden stick horde.” 🤭
Everything’s an experiment, and that provided a lot of fun throughout the process, I’m sure!!! It was definitely fun to watch snd learn!
(Not to mention the B-roll you’ve got of “legally not-exploding” ships, now!) 😄

  18. So glade you didn't do this to the Falcon. But still make a something from a mistake is always a good thing.

  19. I remember watching the special features for episode one where they hand built and destroyed the pod racers for practical effects. I'd have a hard time putting that much effort into a project just to blow it up.

  20. I love your content, and love all the great vids, but if you would make a stranger things diorama, I would be really happy😉

  21. I clicked on this video after misreading the title as "I put 3000 Mandos in a model kit" Needless to say I have never been more disappointed while not actually being disappointed before.
