Affordable and Recommended Hotel in Tokyo!
Conveniently located within walking distance of JR Shinagawa Station, this hotel is perfect for travelers arriving by plane or Shinkansen and offers great access to Tokyo’s top attractions.
The Shinagawa Tobu Hotel is just a 7-minute walk from Shinagawa Station. Tucked away from the main road, it provides a peaceful and relaxing stay right in the heart of the city. Compared to other hotels around Shinagawa Station, it’s also incredibly budget-friendly, making it an excellent choice for travelers.
While the walk to the hotel involves an uphill path, those with heavy luggage might find taking a taxi more convenient. Nevertheless, the location is close enough to be considered highly accessible. Enjoy the video at a relaxed pace, as if you’re joining us on a vlog-style tour!

Kuchnia Japonska ❤
I'm From India❤❤
Thank you for all your videos throughout the year. Have a Happy New Year🎉🎉
Oh my – Indian curry looks fantastic!! 😋
✨Awesome 🎆
Another gem tucked away but still accessible by walking and easy on the pocketbook. The lady showed her age but had the charm and accents of the olden days but was still functional in this hustle and bustle of today. The Harvetearrace offered a nice meal and escape for the travelling public to relax while eating and planning their next day. So, have a Happy New Year, and I look forward to watching your travels through Japan.
Oh hey, I stayed here during my trip! It was great, but the steep walk up the hill was sometimes difficult to do after walking around all day. I was able to leave my luggage at the front desk of the hotel and went to visit the Aqua Park on my check out day. It was very enjoyable. I'm glad to see the breakfast menu expanded. When I went, it was just the Western breakfast, the curry, and the onion soup. The Japanese dishes are a nice addition.
If anyone needs a 7-eleven, it's in the luxury hotel across the street to the left when you exit the Shinagawa Tobu hotel. Just go through that hotel's lobby. I needed it to use the atm and grab larger bottles of water.
Lovely. I wish I could stay there. Greetings from Canada.
This video makes me nostalgic. I have stayed several times in hotels (mostly the Prince hotels) near the Takanawa exit to Shinagawa station and have eaten in some of the restaurants in WING Takanawa. If I ever go there again I will keep this hotel in mind. Happy New Year!

We stayed there last year for a few days. Its a great spot after two days we worked out if you take the hill where Mont-bell is its a little easier to walk up at the end of a long day
Very thanks for good information. I want to stay in tobu hotel
Thank you for sharing your experience at Shinagawa Tobu hotel. We’ll visit this August. Wonder going up the hill and the distance from the station will be too much to handle under the scorching heat in the summer. 😅
$100 US is expensive for this small room
arrigato….thanks for info back later this year and always look for new great hotel.👍👍👍👍
I was just here for New Years. I stayed both at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel and the Shinagawa Tobu Hotel. It is a little bit of a hike to get from the station to Tobu Hotel though, but not too bad. You get use to it after a few trips. I can totally recommend both. The location is really stellar. Shinagawa Eki not only easily feeds you into anywhere in Tokyo, but is also a Shinkansen stop.
I discovered this little value gem a couple of years ago and have had 3 separate stays there. I find that Shinagawa is a great location as a base to explore the core Tokyo areas as well as easy access to both international airports and the Shinkansen. The Tobu hotel is perfectly fine; quiet and comfortable and most of all, affordable. More future stays there for this traveler.
Does hotel have free “onsen” for guess ?
What is the temperature there at that time?tnx
Great Video. Can you recommend a hotel with coin laundry and Onsen?
