When we had the majority, Schumer, Jeffries, and Pelosi failed to pass half of Biden's legislative agenda: The PRO Act, the ban on Congressional stock trading, the codification of Roe, and a public option on the exchange. When we lost the US House, they abandoned meaningful efforts to bring this legislation to committee votes. In 2024, the my party orchestrated a campaign that was most notable for its emphasis on slogans, an opportunity economy, and its lack of policy substance. Instead of focusing on personalities and the horse race, CNN ought to report on the policy challenges facing this country. Jonathan W. As someone who lives in Eugene, Oregon… I don't think ANYONE ANYWHERE should be looking to anyone responsible for policy in Oregon for feedback or advice. If there was ever an argument for both sides of the political spectrum to come closer to the center, Oregon should be front and center.
