Things are going to change and they are going to change quite dramatically I suspect. Indeed, we have huge news this week that will mean Massive Changes Coming in space, and in a good way. In a shock but welcome announcement on Wednesday, Jared Isaacman was nominated as NASA Administrator! I think this is freaking huge. With the constant debacle and the now brand new push for Artemis II waaaay down the line now in 2026, I certainly think a shakeup is needed.
SpaceX Starship Prepares For Flight 7 with the booster getting ready for static fire right now, and the ship should be rolling for its static fire test over the next few days! Exciting times! Outside of all that, its been a bonkers week of launches, a new Falcon 9 reuse record and all sorts of great stuff. Personally super interested in the Proba-3 mission by ESA too.

If anyone is going to make the tough call to drop SLS and just launch crewed starship directly to the moon, it’s likely that Jared Isaacman will be the person to do it.
Super Cool Dude ! Yeah ! Super Dope ! Digging It Man ! Rite On !!
cool! Trump is going to Kick Butt! Jared will be great! Nasa is a sleeping Giant bloated and fat! We will fix it.
If i had a dollar every time this guy said "indeed" lol, I wouldn't have to go to work
I sure the Artemis will launch before Star Citizen is released.
Musk, SpaceX, Trump, DOGE… Glad there is no suggestion of corruption or conflict of interest…😂
Polaris is a Private or Commercial flight, where NASA has no say in who flies, meaning there would be no Conflict of Interest if Issacman was to stay in place on crew for those flights. As Administrator, he's likely not to be the one deciding who flies on NASA missions either. It's more the time taken for the workload that's going to affect whether Jarod flies on Polaris missions.
His appointment if probably the only well chosen one of the incoming political administration, which suggests it was not made by the same people doing the rest of the appointments.
Historically, it was Nixon’s success at cutting waste within NASA which has landed us earthbound fifty years later.
Just say'n….
did you miss the new water deluge system on the falcon 9 landing barge?
I don't know. It's an age old issue. I absolutely love space and space travel however I can't help but think that the brain power and Logistics and trillions of dollars spent to make "all the leaps needed to create these Technologies for space travel."….. how much would it cost to cure cancer or fund schools or just solve any of the basic problems we have here on Earth before we go screaming off into space , which aren't going to solve the problems we're having now. We won't have a future to go explore space if we don't solve these problems now. Money is the answer to all our problems but we seem to be spending it in the wrong directions. Nobody wants to hear that. I'll shut up now.
Damn that sucks Jarred is woke. He is fine with the anti-White rhetoric of DEI as long as he is the one White male still allowed.
Let's hope this video won't get taken down for saying "corona" that often.
How much does ULA hate SpaceX?
14:36 what are they hiding??
Everything government makes or builds is done by awarding contracts to various private companies. This has been the case forever, and is not a problem in and of itself. The SLS rocket, however, was a joke. It was an excuse for the senators who sat on the committee that oversaw the SLS's development to award contracts to companies in their respective states, companies that built parts of this crapola rocket, in return, I am sure, for invisible money being deposited into the Cayman Islands accounts of said senators. Finally, after twelve years–during which time SpaceX was inventing, innovating and hurtling into the future, we had that embarrassing boondoggle of a rocket, the SLS. Now look, once upon a time, in the Apollo era, NASA was synonymous with American knowhow and determination. Now it is a relic of a bygone age. Since SpaceX has already been contracted to build different versions of Starship for the Artemis mission, and SpaceX is far and away leader in private space, why are we even bothering with NASA anymore? SpaceX can handle it. Put NASA in the Smithsonian where it belongs.
Am I the only one who finds his appointment just a little too comfortable for Musk… Get aligned with orange one and get one of your own nominated to lead nasa and hey presto no more issues for spacex…
He might at least be somewhat qualified for the role, unlike most of the Dump's picks, but still very convenient for Musk.
Seems money can buy you everything these days…
As usual, Marcus knocks if out of the park. Excellent video sir
So we can get rid of starship then given is was meant to be on Mars 2 years ago.
that was the farthest that anyone had been since NASA 's apollo program over half a century ago ? LIARS!!!
Thanks for the analysis! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
No rainbow flags on Mars 😂
Another great episode Marcus! Well done! On your channel the future is exciting.
Correction: Artemis III was originally going to be 2028 but the president at the time decided he wanted to have boots on the Moon during his first term so NASA had to publish the ludicrous timeline of having people on the Moon by 2024.
The delays are just NASA slowly correcting the published schedule to one they believed they could accomplish.
I wish I was as excited about anything in my life as Marcus is about rockets.
