政治、経済、芸能、裏社会にいたるまで、あらゆる情報に精通し、社会を裏で操る謎の情報屋、通称“インフォーマ”・木原慶次郎と、ペンで権力に立ち向かうという信念を持つゴシップ週刊誌「週刊タイムズ」の記者・三島寛治の“異色のコンビ”を軸に繰り広げられる、本格クライムサスペンスドラマ。
事件から政治や芸能、裏社会まで幅広いフィールドを題材に執筆活動を続ける作家・沖田臥竜のクライム・ノベル「INFORMA」シリーズ最新作「INFORMAⅡ -Hit and Away-」を原作に、同氏が監修も務め、2023年に放送されたドラマ『インフォーマ』の新シリーズとして放送。前作の『インフォーマ』同様、木原慶次郎役は桐谷健太が、三島寛治役はGENERATIONSの佐野玲於が演じます。さらに今作から『インフォーマ』シリーズに新キャストとして、莉子、池内博之、二宮和也、SUMIRE、兵頭功海、山田孝之らが出演することを決定。

“Informa – Beasts Living in the Darkness -”
A full-scale crime suspense drama that revolves around the “unique duo” of Keijiro Kihara, a mysterious informant who is well-versed in all kinds of information from politics, economics, entertainment, and the underworld and manipulates society from behind the scenes, known as “Informa,” and Kanji Mishima, a reporter for the gossip weekly magazine “Weekly Times” who believes in confronting power with his pen.
Based on the latest work “INFORMA II -Hit and Away-” in the crime novel “INFORMA” series by author Okita Garyu, who continues to write on a wide range of subjects from crime to politics, entertainment, and the underworld, the series will be broadcast as a new series of the drama “INFORMA” that was broadcast in 2023, with Okita also supervising. As with the previous “INFORMA”, the role of Kihara Keijiro will be played by Kiritani Kenta, and the role of Mishima Kanji will be played by GENERATIONS’ Sano Reo. In addition, it has been decided that Riko, Ikeuchi Hiroyuki, Ninomiya Kazunari, SUMIRE, Hyodo Koukai, Yamada Takayuki and others will appear as new cast members in the “INFORMA” series from this work.
