I was watching and this was the day I realized I went to high school with John and miss the guy!!! Groovy dude and I’m so stoked that I get to see him doing his thing! Seriously blew my mind!
Only down side to this movie is too many people can't keep up with what's going on or understand how deep and multilayered this is.

I didn't knew about this movie until the recent reactions lately. I'm mindblown when I saw "…underated DC movie"… I never knew V is a DC character before.

Those lines, followed by a scene of people who should have worn brown pants realizing he was right. It a masterful use of stylized, slow motion violence to tell a story. Seeing the fear creep into Creedy and the secret police faces was great story telling. They felt powerful and untouchable because they were used to using violence and fear of all types on people who couldn't fight back.
That fact that V took the mortal wounds and powered through, reinforces the statement that ideas are bulletproof. You can kill people, but not the ideas they believe in and represent.
Wow, you're watching this on election day. This is gonna cut so deep right now.
To clarify, Stephen Fry, that little girl, Valerie and Ruth and a lot of those last people did die. It was symbolic that those that would've wanted to stand against the system because they were victims of it, but had passed were also there to stand with him.

My entire right forearm is covered with this movie's art and I named myself after something within this movie. Yeah I'd say I'd love it. I watch it every November 5th and it sadly only becomes more relevant each year.

Too much fear in their voices
This movie came out months before I graduated high school. I was 17, and forming my own identity and opinions about things like religion and government. I saw this in theaters and it had a profound affect on me. Even now, watching Natalie's performance during that realization scene, has me super emotional.

Alan Moore hates this movie (like he hates all adaptations of his work) because it turns his original story exploring the moral quandary of anarchy vs fascism into a more traditional good vs evil story

I think this is a solid film with really good performances, but I’ve also heard some criticisms from friends who have read the originals.
