Czech Combat is a 2-day, 12-stage practical matching using rifle and pistol, sponsored by CZ and Sellier & Bellot. It is not a Brutality match, although it shares a lot of elements with Brutality. There is not as much physical challenge to the stages, instead having a mixture of tactically-oriented stages and IPSC-like stages. It was an extremely fun experience, with great competitors and really good range staff officiating the event!

  1. Is it just me who is slightly disappointed every time someone says Bren and it's not the LMG?

  2. The last time I got into a mystery fun van I woke up in Mexico and my butt was sore.

  3. Holstering loaded pistols, multiple people accompanying a shooter in a 360 simulation with live ammo is not something I'd want to be near TBH. Respect for running such an elaborate fun event but as a foreigner who isn't familiar with the way Czechs do things, this is hard to be comfortable with.

  4. These are the sort of matches I like. A bit of roleplay, a lot of uncertainty, all about building a wide range of skills instead of just shooty shooty.

What would be neat is incorporating drones into the mix, both offensively and in reaction to them.

  5. It’s really enjoyable to watch a guy like Ian who has some very real skills completely own when he screws up. No ego here, just a genuine guy doing what he does.

  7. Wow, this looks like a ton of fun! Using less-lethal ammo for certain parts definitely opens up a ton of really cool and interesting stage possibilities, and the live ammo sections were great too! :O

  8. i've never seen a match that used only LTL in order to get frisky with the 180 rule lol. it seems like the middle ground between just training with sim rounds and running an IPSC match. sim rounds are so dang expensive though i can't imagine many people want to run a match and shoot 1000 of them in a day

  9. I just watched your vid on the mg34 and immediately hopped on a vietnam server on arma reforger and started melting everyone, that rate of fire is no joke, whole drum mag gone in 3-4 seconds
