   Rob, Grace was the winner of her season of AGT in 2016. The progress that she has made since, vocally, songwriting, and now producing, is nothing short of phenomenal. Within the next few weeks she is expected to release new music. And the music that she has teased out over the past year is just remarkable.

   Of course she won.
   Grace wrote four songs for her AGT performances: I Don't Know My Name, Beautiful Thing, Light the Sky and Clay. I'm pretty sure that's never been done by any other AGT contestant. She did all of this at 12 years of age.
   By the way, some of those songs she wrote between performances; she felt she couldn't do a cover after opening with an original.

   I'm surprised you didn't know she won especially since you've done a few reactions to her performances. She had some real stiff competition on that season and so many people are still mad that she won. In my opinion, those people have no idea how hard it is to write music and lyrics, and to do it at 12 years old is on another level. Not to mention she wrote some of those songs between performances. This is a prolific songwriter and she's only getting better. New album near and I can't wait for it drop. Thanks for another Grace reaction and another shout out to your patreon for the request. She's got so much original music out there, it's mind-blowing.

   unfortunately i smoked a lot of legal here in canada cannabis as well as make 40-50 vids a week and Im old now a days Hahaha lol i was thinking if one were to break that it would have been grace, the passion and rawness in that was outstanding.

   Funny you don't recognize brilliance and only hear her singing, She Won writing all originals , and her delivery is unmatched. Have you ever seen a 12 yr old inspire so many people of all ages to cover her song ? They're still covering this song all her others in large numbers .

   What I appreciate the most about this performance happened right at the beginning-before Grace started singing. The ultimate professional-even right at the start of her career-while she was strumming the intro and walking those 3m to the front of the platform, she turns her head one-at-a-time to make eye contact with and give a small nod to each of her accompanists. A real class act.

   Grace won , thing is she was the only contestant to win singing originals , originals she wrote , Grace is not like these other talented kid singers, she does not only rely only on singing , she is a remarkable lyricist and song writer and she has only got better as she matures

    I'm an AGT addict, so saw her from the start. When I heard IDNMN I thought she's perfectly captured the adolescent experience. Light the Sky was inspirational, and I found Beatiful Thing to be the perfect love song for the purest kind of love.

    But when she sang Clay, I sat there and bawled. All the bullying, name calling, rejection and loneliness came flooding back, even after over half a century. I can't help wondering how my life might have been different had Grace been singing then, and how today's youth are so lucky to have her.

    When I hear Grace sing, I'm sixteen again. She sings the feelings I felt then; the hope, the excitement, the pain, the frustration…the RAGE!

    Her new music is going to be so damn good!

    Grace's work has always been spectacular, the way she writes shows great maturity, for a 12 year old girl she is way ahead of her time in the 4 songs she wrote. I particularly loved Beautiful Thing, but Clay has a strong lyrics and the theme proposal is very current and not only because of the different voice, but what impressed at the time was the wonderful power of interpretation of the artist, there was a lot of dedication, a lot of attitude, winning that contest was very fair, an incredible job, congratulations and “success always” !!!

    Give the guy a break. Not everyone is a FanderWaal. Most reactors have not even bothered to react to Grace. At least he appreciates her singing. We know how talented Grace is, that she is far more than just a singer, that she is an artist in every sense of the word, and not just any ol’ artist but an artistic genius. If you feel that the guy does not fully appreciate Grace, then educate him, don’t trash him. We are FanderWaals, not VanderNazis. Peace.

    She won; her edge was her amazing songwriting. And her charisma. She's a natural star.

    Grace wrote, produced and sang “Faults” all on her own…do you wanna see how good she is? “Lay in the Backyard”, same thing. Simon said “she’s a pioneer, she’s that important”, and he was right.

    You're wrong about her not winning. She absolutely won! She won performing only original songs every round! She's the only artist to do that ever on AGT.
