In an effort to simulate what a first-person Super Jump looks like, Wren embarks on the hardest build he’s ever done and is pushed to his absolute breaking point.

  1. Thanks for watching, everyone! To address some comments I’m already seeing pop up:
I did use a 3D printed camera that replicated the weight for testing. The two cameras that broke weren’t from testing though, but from actually trying to get the shot!
After that I used one of the dummy cameras for the drop tests, which already had scratched lenses so I couldn’t use it for the final shot but it did technically still work so I figured I could at least still get some shots with it till it fully died. I used the printed camera for the rest of the drops.

And yeah I put an AirTag in the final shell for the final cannon day haha. I didn’t want to risk losing it again.

  2. I felt that happiness for him when it finally worked such a great feeling!

  3. Amazing footage!
Being careful with my words as of Adam savages video I watched earlier said, perhaps an air tag next time? For recovery purposes. I'm sure this won't be the last version of something like this. Especially if you go bigger next time!
I particularly liked the bird one.
They have all been really good so far.

  4. I trust that someone in the comments is going to go out there, find the lost camera, and save that glorious 360 shot

  5. Using a 360 camera to film from the top of the hill you're shooting over could have been interesting.

  6. This should be the start of a series called something like ‘the impossible shot’ where you just try to get weird, hard and sometimes goofy shots.

  7. These videos prove that Wren is the embodiment of the indomitable human spirit

  8. DUDE! I used to watch Backyard FX like 10 years ago, cool to see like, ALL of my inspirations here in this video!

  9. It’s funny you can Wren yelling on the final footage 360 footage. 🤣😂🤣Made my heart warm to see you succeed sir! ❤🥹

  10. I just watched the adventures of tintin on TV yesterday. It's an animation film from 2011! Please do a video reviewing how amazing the animation and cgi is for that movie its actually insane. The detail for every frame is ridiculous lol

  11. Gosh, this whole thing looks like a joke apart from the cannon
1 – u could’ve used a lot of 3d printed dummies with the same weight before using the real dummies and real cameras
2 – u could’ve used a gps tracker of a beeper for the cases where camera is lost
3 – u could’ve used another parachute or the reinforced ones before using the some one that broke down alrdy

Come on, where is the engineering approach?

  12. @SirWrender A note for the future, my man. Checklists. Checklists, checklists, checklists. Check the chute, check a box, check the deployment doodad, check a box, check that you're rolling, check a box, check the geotag, check a box. Check, check, check.

When you only have X tries, checklists are the way to make sure every try counts.

  13. Oh my god it's so wild to give the gps coordinates and just say "Hey anyone wants this go find it

  14. "Failure is always an option."
As long as you learn something from it… and your sponsor gives you enough time to put those lessons into action. Great shot!

  15. They say when people dream about flying, everyone flies differently, the way I “fly” is by jumping like this video 😂

  16. pretty interesting idea with pretty interesting problems to solve on the ways, tho using a live camera from trial 1 on feels a bit like due to dramatization, which makes one question

  17. The Pin point lands in Montebello CA? I would absolutely send you the SD card. Make this my mission!

  18. "Alright guys insta360 wants to give us 5 cameras for a promotional video. Should we do a giveaways or contest of sorts?"

Wren: OK, guys bare with me here…. lets shoot these cameras out of a cannon. XD

hahahahahaha i would have voted yes on cannons all day long
