I went through an insane lord of the rings phase when I was like 12 that lasted like a decade, and I was pretty into anime at the same time as well. I nvr watched this anime before, but found a pic of deedlit on some huge anime screenshot website. I used to use deedlit pics as my lame ass kid rp profile. I can't believe kids still do that shit. But I guess it is just like playing make believe but on the internet. Most lord of the rings role players didn't wanna play w me though, bc I had an anime elf and wasn't "serious"enough for lothlorien. Lol looking back i way way out of my depth. Probably all of them were like 40. Ah, msn rp chat rooms. Now im gonna watch this in 2020 ✌ Just like I always wanted to do.
Probably my favorite fantasy anime of all times: story, characters, setting, soundtrack, they are all perfect. When I started DMing seriously, my first few adventures were set in Lodoss, so much I loved the setting. And I still have and cherish the VHSs, CDs and novels I collected during these years ^^.
The sad thing is: I miss the 90's, and I didn't knew I should enjoy more my childhood. Time just passed by and suddenly all is over. Then, now, I try to make sure I am enjoying it all, without being introvert or shy. Just try to be myself and live all I can. This time gonna pass too, faster than I thought.
Completed the first season and this show is great , i have been obsessed with the opening song idk why this song makes me nostalgic and i really feel homesick for a place that doesn’t exist and I don’t even know if i make any sense but it is what i really feel when I listen to this song

The 80s written down playthroughs of Japanese AD&D gamers and the game systems and worlds they wrote up in their spare time to then write books and comics of them and their friends adventures in the games. Fucking awesome.
Series like "Records of Lodoss War" should be archived and preserve diligently. This feeling, how can we not feel emotional about this. Such feeling of pure innocence and compassion this opening gives with the visuals. Watching Deedlit and Parn together when the chorus hits, the feeling is overwhelmingly indescribable.
