tomodachi game r4 review: i loved the 2017 live action version but still find this take refreshing. yoshizawa ryo as katagiri yuichi was brilliant of course, but ukisho’s ‘kind katagiri’ feels more warm and sincere so the ‘flip’ was interesting to see. love the change in kokorogi’s depiction too.
i’m pleasantly surprised that as the narrative developed and the character’s layers started to really unravel, ukisho’s portrayal of ‘dark katagiri’ got even more compelling. his dynamic with fujii naoki’s shinomiya was also one of the highlights of this series.
