You described what it’s like being a law enforcement officer on a daily basis.
This is a great explanation of why you need to do what is right, regardless of others opinions.

Isn't that the way it was in the early days of the Western towns. All the town fathers wanted a fast gun to be sheriff and put his life on the line. Once the town was cleaned up him and his gun was asked to leave because he was hurting the town's reputation. Not much has changed has it?

The location was not optimal in that the space was confined. But being on a plane, there was almost no chance of him having a weapon. And also shows the importance of keeping you hands on skills sharp.

Hi there. I’m glad you were able to help out in that situation. The world has just gone berserk. But did I hear you say there’s an attack on masculinity? Honestly I don’t see it. But maybe this is why all the male managers on my job are so difficult to work with. I’m a woman with 25 years experience in technology, which has always been male dominated. But the last few years I’ve seen a change, with men I work with that have less experience “mansplaining” everything to me, talking over me more than usual, seemingly overexerting their “masculinity” to make a point. If they feel “under attack” like you say, then that would explain it. I can image them high-fiving at the water cooler, reclaiming their masculinity after meetings where they shut down other females colleagues…I’m a subscriber to the WarPoet app and content and enjoy it, is it supposed to be for men only?

Covid policy on an airplane and putting a kid down are two separate things. This is coming from an unvaccinated dude who only wore a mask once after my family screamed at me on Xmas.
