OCTPATH is a Japanese boy group formed in November 2021 by eight former contestants from PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SEASON2 under Yoshimoto Kogyo's agency. Each member has their own color in the group, and Toma is the white one, and he takes over the High Note part in this song, they say there is no leader (aka all are leaders) in the group, and they don't limit themselves to a particular genre of music, among them there are those who can speak English, Korean and French. OCTPATH is the latest boy group addition to the Yoshimoto Kogyo lineup (JO1 and INI via Lapone, OWV, and ENJIN are the others). OCTPATH are an 8-member group of former PDJP S2 trainees. They are the second group from PDJP S2 to debut after the winning group, INI.
As of recently, the entire Yoshimoto boy group line (this one, INI, JO1, OWV, and ENJIN) are this year's Japan lineup for KCON SPRING 2022. First time OCTPATH will be appearing on KCON too (2nd time for OWV, ENJIN, and INI, 4th time (I think?) for JO1).
