The street food in Penang is quite unique compared to the rest of the country, with many popular Malaysian foods done different ways here.<\/p>\n<p>As we ventured out to explore the unique street food in Penang, we tried a number of traditional and different dishes of Malaysian food. From char koay kak and lor mee, to duck kway chap and lau sa bao (salted egg custard bun), we had a huge food adventure today through the unique streets of Penang. The most popular food in Penang can be found at hawker stalls and small shops on the sides of the roads, so it\u2019s always important to keep your eyes peeled so you don\u2019t miss the best street food in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>We ended our street food tour of Malaysia getting to watch the preparation and cooking of the traditional bamboo pole wonton noodles. These traditional bamboo pole wonton noodles are made in a special and old-style way that is hard to find in Malaysia nowadays. The making of the bamboo wonton noodles was so unique, and the taste of them even better!
