My mate Neil Burgess and I continue upgrading the suspension on his 2007 BMW Mini Cooper S rally car. Having improved the front by adding some increased caster bushes, adjustable camber strut tops and a pair off adjustable Ohlins shock absorbers we then had to modify our freshly refurbished subframe to make it all fit! With that all done and ready for setting up, this week we turn our attention to the rear suspension and set out to make the rear toe and camber adjustable. But will this thoroughly modern Mini be as easy to upgrade as you’d think?…

Ah Mini rear brakes, if they give grief they will. Found you need to be just Manly about and pry the pads overt the disc.
Hello Edd! Thank you for this series; once again getting my 'fix' (pun).
With hindsight being what it is and the limited tool set available to me, I would have cut two (2) cross sections from that suspension bush, opposite each other, then pried out the two halves.
Which leads me to a question: is that bangin' (desirable) arbor press available in the U.S. do you know and regardless, what brand is it?
Again, thank you for doing this series; you are well appreciated. If you ever make it to Middle Tennessee, plz provide a little advance notice.
Be well,
Joe Cocchini (like 'zucchini' w/a "C") (O:
Hiya Edd
Hardest job i have done on my R53 was undoing the bolts on the 4 arms. Bought spares and just cut the old ones out as recessed heads were completely rusted and no chance of getting spanner on
Wish I had that Milwaukee impact driver when I had my race car!
5 months later……….
Does anyone know if Ed does work in the u.s..?

A smaller dry ice system can be purchased from Obsessed Garage. Possibly contact Scott Ales or Matt Moreman.
I quite fancy buying and going up a gen 1 BMW Mini Cooper S. Video saved.
Glad Edd did his own thing. In retrospect he should've done this a long time ago. His creative fixes and diagnosis is what the lost art of mechanics really was.

forget about wheeler dealers sick of hearing the show.
Appreciate the camera work there – allowing us to keep an eye on the pressure gauge whilst the chaps were trying to press out the bush. Really helps to make the viewer feel involved, great direction.
Does anyone know the model of the Milwaukee Impact Driver Ed uses?
27:42 "Let's get violent with it, fantastic!" There's another tshirt, bumper sticker!
Here's a basic tip. Remove the brake MC cap. That way it's easier to compress the caliper.
22:30 Edd has just come from his other work in mine or what? lol
Portuguese (Brazil) language please.
Toot? What's the "TOOT", on the screen for?
"a job for another day"
The story of my procrastinating life 😂
