Bleu de Chanel has been a huge success for the house of Chanel. It sold well and continues to do so. Sales does not always translate in a great scent and as much as a feel like Bleu can be an excellent choice for a utility scent it never wowed me.

  1. Bleu de Chanel was ok I've gotten so many compliments with it but it just didn't register to me so I sold to someone who really enjoyed it. But I hav have smelled the other 2 concentrations and I like the parfum concentration a lot more. Great review as always! #NOHYPETRAINHERE!

  2. Robes08 reviewing Bleu de Chanel… Am I sleeping? Is this really happening? Is this fragcom, or it's Jeremy's fan club?

  3. Love how the edp doesn’t have that screetchy opening and is a lot smoother compared to the edt

  4. Great review. Appreciate all the effort.

The best “blue” fragrance, weirdly enough, is ELDO’s Hermann.

  5. This is what started the whole Bleu trend even Roja and if I’m not wrong the inspiration for Aventus.

Go figure if this is generic or something so good about it even Dior had to do its take.

  6. Your take on the basenotes is interesting. All I get is ambroxian, cheap synthetic woods & white musk. (Which sadly is the base of most men’s fragrances these days, regardless of price).

  7. Marc just nailed it again! Perfect review – honest, deep, objective. That's what I want to see in a review… I agree with every word here! Great to see Marc is in top form! Thank you Marc and just keep doing like that – you're still The fragrance Guru!

  8. Even though i like the scent myself I respect you gave your honest opinion.

  9. robes08 I think you’ll like the EdP version a bit more. Thanks for this great review.

  10. hey, glad i found your channel!! live your vibe and your reviews. is an accent from Qc i hear when you say french words?!

  11. The wife picked this out for me. I’m more of a Tom Ford guy, but she’s happy so it’s a win-win.

  12. In my personal point of view you are The best fragrance reviewer out there.

  13. A versatile and solid release. Niche heads may hate this but I do appreciate this scent immensely. It’s a safe buy and set a standard for many of the “blue” fragrances that followed. It may not be a ground breaking release but not every release needs to be a recreation of the wheel. Personally I’ve been through several bottles of BDC and I have an extensive collection of designer and niche as well as pure essential oils but BDC suits me just fine ! Great longevity and projection overall. A gem that some may choose to pass on. It’s a blind buy to me but you can always try before after all it’s Chanel so it will cost you some coin. God bless and enjoy fragrance for yourself and if you happen to please others so be it but please yourself first.

  14. Chanel reformulated the EdT at least two times. 2010 was the best of the best, unbeatable. 2013 was bad but now? It is a joke. I think they want to sell the ugly EdP.

  15. I like it but too popular. Also my budget only affords the $20-30 bottles on sale. I would rather be debt free than have a large frag collection
