  1. Wish lists only for me this year. Bidenflation is taking a huge bite out of my budget, and I've seen a 9% drop in the value of my savings and investments. Consequently, I'm cutting back wherever I can. Although I ordinarily do my part to keep the US economy healthy and strong, for the foreseeable future, none of these retailers will be luring me with their wares. I would find it hard to believe that the majority of consumers are not in the same boat and reassessing their spending patterns as a result.

  2. I had a riki mini mirror and I didn't get what was so great about it. I mean it's a lighted mirror how much could it really do for your makeup? I now have a mirror on a stand that lights up with cool or warm and gets brighter if you want. It works just as well and we it was cheaper

  3. I have thick hair like you and have not strayed from my beloved Oribe for four years now. I switch up the formulas but yes it’s true… Oribe rules!

  4. LP reacted d ryt way, she is cenilbalappp.Monster need of over drama, or over consider ations. She don't deserve *considerationso. Lp പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ,, ജീവിതം തുടങ്ങിയല്ലേ ഉള്ളു, പഠിക്കട്ടെ.

  5. I’ve tried that Oribe line and it dried out my hair. I like Moroccan Oil, Alterna Caviar, and Pureology in the lilac bottle. I also love Amika hair products.

  6. Alterna left a lot of build up in my hair. Personally I like Living Proof PHD which is also a value set for the sale.

  7. I dont understand why so many stylists brush hair so roughly and dont know the best ways to detangle. Hair repair is my life. I'm really sick and it has a huge impact on my already fine, frizzy, wavy/curly hair.

Oribe is too expensive for me so I can't help there. But I can tell you that curlsmith has many great products that are actually good for your hair, if u need protein, their bond building treatment is great and i love their hydro soothing conditioner and multitasking conditioner as deep conditioners. If u tell me what kind of things you're looking for, i know their whole product line really well. I have heard a lot of great things about kerastase damage repair products and have really liked everything I've tried so far. Ouai is the every day shampoo and conditioner that works best for my hair. I recommend double shampooing and always doing special treatments after the first shampoo.

Olaplex is of course fantastic, if u use 3, get 0 also. Many people say 0 isn't useful but they aren't using it right, u need to follow the directions carefully, saturate the hair with it (flip hair over a large bowl so any run off drips into the bowl and u can soak your ends in it) leave for ten minutes i think it is and then add 3. It's supposed to prep the hair so the active ingredient in 3 can penetrate deeper into the shaft and do more repair. Olaplex stops working when it dries so saturate your hair with both and then put it up and wrap with plastic to keep it wet and leave it for a couple hours if u can. Olaplex 8 is an amazing softening mask.

Invest in leave in protectants for after shower. Right now I use JVN, curlsmith, joico, kerastase and Olaplex 6 and their oil (7 I think). And I would avoid straighteners/curling irons for a while, keep hair drying heat low and distant, hover with a diffuser if u can.

If your hair starts getting dry ends between washes, try using Olaplex 6 and their oil on the mid shift to ends before bed and let it soak in. Next day will be much better, just be careful not to use too much.

The best thing you can do for breakage is go get those ends trimmed. You don't have to lose any length at all, just explain it to the stylist and they can do just the very ends. If you have a very sharp pair of shears (u can get pretty good japanese hair cutting scissors for $15 on Amazon), u can sit in direct sunlight with a contrasting background and go thru you hair and snip split ends and damage yourself. It's good to do this anyway because a lot of the breakage will be higher up the shaft and u have to go thru it more meticulously than the stylist can but at least they can get the ends of the length and layers. There's only so much you can do to repair the strand but breakage will keep tearing the hair apart until you give it a nice clean end.

Oils can be great for protecting and keeping tangles to a minimum but hard to get away with much without looking bad. Definitely use oils to detangle, that damage will make your hair tangle much worse. I always use oils or heavy conditioners to detangle and work from the bottom up in small sections. If you press the brush into the tangle and rock and lift out, over and over, you never have to pull the hair at all and the tangle will relax and come undone. Press in, turn your wrist like turning a key and lift up, starting from the bottom and going up a tiny bit higher each time, it's very repetitive but never pulls. I prefer to detangle in the shower, although wet hair is more fragile, I make it very slippery and the water helps it slip apart without pulling.

Proteins and bond builders can help heal the hair but if you use too much protein, your hair will feel like straw, if that happens, just give a couple washes without protein heavy products and you should be better.

Keratin is a huge help, affordable option, biolage keratin spray, expensive but better working and smelling option, virtue's restorative treatment mask is great and goes on sale pretty frequently. You can also add the ordinary Hyaluronic acid and aloe Vera gel to treatment Masks for hydration. And rice water is a good cheap protein rinse.

Hope something there helps! If u have any questions or anything, just let me know.

  8. I have very healthy hair but it is highlighted and Oribe dried it out. It's crazy because so many people love it. The scent is to die for but it really didn't agree with my hair.

  9. 🙋🏻‍♀️Oribe Person here!

I have highlighted hair (Asian, coarse hair, dyed blonde) and have been using the Gold Lust line ever since it debuted. I use the Shampoo, Treatment Masque, and Dry Shampoo from the line. I’m also a Dry Texturizing Spray fan.

    I also use Olaplex 0, 3, 6, and 8.

  10. I’ve heard other influencers say the Bobbi brown face base duo is not as great a deal and that there have been better sales by Bobbi brown the company. What are your thoughts?

  11. Thanks so much Amanda and your so right about speaking up too, we find it hard and never want to offend but especially when money is being exchanged I really think it's important 😘👌 love your recommendations ❤

  12. The Rikki Skinny is ok if you need a lighted mirror that's portable.
The Simple Human mirrors are better quality.

  13. I liked Alterna originally but stopped after I bought my second bottle.. seemed to dry me out for some reason. Not a product that is part of the sale BUT my best hair suggestion for damage /overall health is the brand Oway (on holistic hair care). I refused to try for months after my friends raved bc it is natural and I assumed it would be crap/mostly essential oils but it is actual magic. Frequent hair wash shampoo and their hair mask. I get regular compliments on my hair from strangers and stylists when I get my hair done. Truly worth the splurge.

  14. On the hair care front, I have 2 recommendations for you! First and foremost, the K18 hair mask is AMAZING. You really need to follow the instructions, but if you use as instructed it will work and it repairs my hair like no other. 2nd rec: The Aveda Botanicals line! Especially the shampoo and conditioner but the deep conditioner is pretty great too. Amazing for repair. Nikia Joy has a pretty in depth review on the line too!

  15. Amanda and all…
I absolutely LOVE my Sixdove portable mirror with magnetic 10x attachment. It has 3 color adjustments, size of an iPad and only about $30 on Amazon! I’m now confident my makeup 💄 is on point. Game changer!

  16. …prices would've been nice. I always feel like such a jerk nit picking cuz I know how hard you creators work on these videos but I mean it only constructively 💚

  17. I love the earrings you are wearing in the video. Is there a link you could share ?

  18. I love everything in the blue moisture line of Oribe. Every time I try a more affordable I go back to the oribe

  19. I bought inner glow as my first ever cream blush a few weeks ago per your recommendation and I'm loving it! I don't think I need anything else bc it's so easy to not screw up and so pretty!
