  1. 1988 wants their 383 back. Isn't it about time to ENTER the 21st century instead of doing a 30 year old build? Who does the 383 anymore??

  2. Figure on 3K for that fuel injection set-up. Must be nice too have unlimited funds.

  3. Man this is a decent show but God damn these guys are cringey nobody really talk like this and the lame jokes have to stop just show us what your suppose to and move on. Besides that it's pretty good.

  4. GM had 5.7 in Van chassis up past 2000, maybe around 2002 ,…1996 they were getting good with the Vortec Head

  5. I stopped watching 2 minutes in when they said “GM discontinued the small block in 1996”

    WTH is a 5.7 Vortec?😂

  6. "beating the crank gear on isnt the smartest way" buying a tool is smart?
sum people dont hav every tool or on a budget

    honey wheres my hammer!

  7. I could’ve built this for cheaper and made more power they needed to go bigger on the cam. the heads would’ve been all right just needed bigger valves

  8. The synonymous plane nearly cure because cheese randomly retire past a happy ship. therapeutic, spiky city

  9. "pressing the timing gear on is the only way". You heated the gear on the 454 SS build and you just said that's not the right way.

  10. Man, in the future im thinking to build a C10 Drift Truck. I wanted to make an ls3, but here in Brazil (where i live) There arent any Ls ´s for sale. So, i think that a 350 small block or a 383 can be a good choice for me.

  11. @POWERNATION Exactly which short block is that on Summit? The link takes me to several. Asking because that looks to have the correct D dish pistons for a Vortec build and would be definitely be interested in that.

  12. So can u just buy a forged shortblock and swap everything over from your previous engine?

  13. I'm smoker I'm toker I'm a midnight 383 stroker🇺🇲💪🤓🆒🚘🚔 but I'm no pumpitas??????😂🆒

  14. You probably should have done the engine before you painted it and cleaned and painted the engine compartment first!

  15. I love Trucks @ PowerBlock but I really didn't like this guy Kevin. He was always about the body work & paint, which is ok but I want to see the mechanical stuff, engine rebuilds, upgrades, how they lowered it, tranny, etc. I couldn't care less about watching him sand down the fenders for the 30 minutes on some other episodes.

  16. I took the AC off of my 1985 Dodge and it still had a lot of charge in it which it surprised me because it didn't work

  17. I would lose my shit if my heads came back with those ridges in the ports. This will cost you 100HP

  18. What would it take to fit a 383 stroker to replace my 5.3 vortec
    2003 silverado 4×4?

  19. Well that’s one way to spend $20,000 on the engine. Low buck my a$$
