Winter Bath Time with Molton Brown

When it comes to my bath time, there is one brand that I am loyal to year after year and that is Molton Brown. Molton Brown actually began as a hair salon back in 1973; it has now become one of the UK’s leading cosmetic firms, known all over the world in homes and hotels alike. In 2013, Molton Brown was awarded the Royal Warrant in recognition of being a ‘Supplier of Toiletries’ to the HM The Queen [ https://www.royalwarrant.org/company/molton-brown ]. If it is good enough for HM The Queen then it is good enough for us.

The reason that Molton Brown is so successful is because of the quality of their ingredients. They source the best ingredients from all over the world and blend them to perfection in London and never tested on animals. There are 24 fragrance collections to choose from at the moment so there really is something for everyone.

1 – Eucalyptus (unisex fragrance)
Where do I start with this, if I remember correctly this was called Warming Eucalyptus back in the day and that is exactly what it invokes in me when I use it. It is fresh, uplifting, invigorating, soothing and warming. It has base note of cedarwood, middle note of mint and top note of eucalyptus which is sourced from Australia. When I use my Eucalyptus, no matter what kind of day I have had, it makes my day even better.

2 – Ylang-Ylang (unisex fragrance)
This is the perfect product to use before bed time and it has 31 ingredients within it which are perfectly blended. Nothing else smells quite like it and that is because ylang-ylang is an exotic plant from Madagascar. It has extract of Polygala Tenuifolia Root which is traditionally used in Chinese medicine. The base note is musk; middle note is cardamom and top note of ylang-ylang. When I use Ylang-Ylang, I feel calm, balanced and incredibly relaxed.

3 – Gingerlily (feminine fragrance)
Previously called Heavenly Gingerlily, this is so special to me. I have been using this for 16 years and it is what I used on my wedding day and on most special occasions. It was the first Molton Brown product that I bought and it is what I reach for when I want to feel beautiful. The fragrance takes me to the Polynesian Islands. It has extract of white lily from Tahiti, base note of cedarwood, middle note of tuberose again from Tahiti and top note of warming ginger oil. When I use Gingerlily, I’m somewhere exotic and I feel utterly special.

4 – Rosa Absolute (feminine fragrance)
This was only launched last year in 2016 but I cannot be without it. My friends know that I love the smell of roses and this is perfectly blended to a sophisticated fragrance. It is dramatic starting from its colour, crimson red and exquisite floral fragrance. It is the perfect rose scent. The base note is patchouli, middle note of blackcurrant and geranium and top note of rose from Lombardy Italy. When I use Rosa Absolut, I feel empowered, feminine, sensual and ready for nightfall and all that it brings. It is the scent of a woman!

5 – Templetree (unisex fragrance)
This is the ultimate holiday fragrance and perfect for dry winter skin because of the algae extract. It has a base note of sandalwood, middle note of fruity rose and top note of jasmine. When I use Templetree, I am transported to the ocean. I feel happy, clean, relaxed and spiritually cleansed.
