Great shave! Partly because of your influence, I have been using a Semogue boar brush for the last couple of shaves. I got it with my new Muramasa. Not because it matches but because Tatara recommends boar bristles for use with hard water. We have hard water in Las Vegas so I decided to try it out. I’m glad I did because the brush feels good and makes lathering a breeze.
That layer of hand-wipped Pear's Transparent Soap on your face looks thick enough, making us think one day you should try that soap for your lather to shave through. Just that soap and no other soap for the shave. Other people have done it.
Top shave video without claret spilt … 👏🎩 Love the new Yaqi handle designs and the "lightsaber" matched well with Heritage (R89) head. I'm a big fan of using the Glycerine based bar soaps for pre-shave, like you said whether or not a shaver uses a pre-shave is a personal shaving choice, particularly useful if you don't shower before shaving (like me). Great looking lather from the MSC soap. Take care Kevy.
Great Shave Kevy! It's been a long time but, I'm back… Sorry I missed the blood letting, at least your still taking one for the team! :):)
I like using the Heritage head with my Razorock Tech 2 handle. Gives it a good amount of weight for a great shave. That handle is pretty cool looking though I might have to try that next.
Nice shave Kevy. As always a super dense hydrated lather. Nice hybrid razor. Have a great week Sir!!
Love my semogue boar brushes. They take awhile to break in, but once broken in they are so soft and luxurious!
Great shave Kevy 👌
Nice one Kevs. I like that soap. Stsy sharp!
Great shave. I have an Omega boar brush that has been a workhorse for lathering pretty much every soap and cream I have in my den. Don’t be scared to go back to doing the same things you did before disaster struck. You’ll be fine as it’s just one shave ruined by a cut. You may know that I’m a big fan of citrusy scents, so that soap may be for me. I’ve googled Master Soap Creations and they’re indeed available on WCS and Pasteur’s, as well as The Razor Company and Top of the Chain in Canada. Have a good one!
Hola Kevy !!
An interesting shave, the very peculiar soap, the brush without a doubt great, I have always said that wild boar knots are like wines, both improve over time, by the way the small cuts are part of this ritual, there is a phrase without cut there is no glory !!!
Hahaha 😂 maybe maybe not. Like Muppets. O Kevy you are so amazing. Super shave.
I have a Semogue Boar Taj Resin and I ve got problems .This brush must be soaked for 15 minutes? Boar brushes must be soaked more than silvertips? thanks!
Hi Kevy- Great shave and razor/brush reviews; thank you! The Semogue brush seems to be breaking-in nicely for you and it certainly produces a fantastic lather! I hope you have a great rest of the week. Be safe and be well. Best regards, as always, Kevy!
Kevy: Generic Information English Shaves?
Haha. Great shave Kevy! Love the info on splaying and lathering as always. Much appreciated💈
nice shave Kevy !!
Nice shave. Can you recommend a medium aggression razor?
Kevy , good morning Sir . Thank You for sharing that way of lathering , I'm going to try it next time I shave . Master Soap Creations are sold at Top of the Chain here in Canada for any of Your Canadian followers . Stay safe my friend
Good one Kevy! I frequently use different handles on my razors. And you're correct, the Heritage was made by Muhle.
I love the customary Kevy shaving. Heavy razing sounds and slick glide is every wet shaver's dream.
Light hearted fidgety daily shaver stream.❤
Hey Kevy, I am really curious about your thoughts on Whisky as a Scotsman. Keep up the good shaving though😜
I swear Master Soap Creations are leading the way. Amazing success story @fernando.
Thank you very much(BLAST YOU)for putting that damned Earwig in my head… I can't "Sticky Toffee Pudding Super Soaker" out of head for nothing..Especially the part where you draw out or as we say in the States, "DRAWL" Supeeeeeeeeeer Soakeeeeeeeer"… 😀
Maybe, maybe not, maybe, maybe not, maybe, maybe not 😂😂😂😂. Good sample for a techno track there 😂😂😂😂. Like the hybrid razor, looks really comfortable. Have your same take on straights, maybe one day, just the maintenance involved is time consuming. Yeah I've done that with lather for pickups, great tip. 👌 Love the Semogue brush! 😍😍😍
Another great shave in the books
Aka "Kevy Shapes" according to Youtube subtitles.
Wear your battle scars with pride.
Boar brushes work great on soaps. Better than badgers.
I could paint my house in the time it took to apply the lather.
Kevy!
Hey, these makers have the exact same typos on their ingredient list as the ones I called out on the Yaqi soap from the shave after this one. They're both taken off the same badly spelled list. Just letting you know.
While on the subject, I think the "m" in "Semogue" is right side up. It's just that the two crests on the letter are brought to a point in the style of a capital cursive "M" rather than rounded off in the style of a lower case "m". But I see why it would look like an upside down letter.
Always nice watching your videos Kevy. Glad the cut is healing.
Stunning lather Kevy! 😊
Absolutely brilliant video and great products

I've got a Semogue Owners Club boar and love it. Been using it for about a year. Once broken in, which took about 6 shaves, the ends start to split and it just gets softer and softer. I've had synthetics and badger and this is every bit as soft, but I like it better because of it's nice backbone.
