Hello there! Speaking of travelling… all of my uploads since May were pre-filmed before I left Australia for my big trip. I've now reached the end of that content so I'll be swapping to travel videos for a little while, and you'll get to see what I've been up to! ✈️ Beauty lovers, please stay tuned – SO so much exciting content coming soon, so I hope you'll stick around! Thank you x
Can you do a review of the herbivore botanicals balance and clarify set
What brands do you recommend for a good exfoliator for dry skin? I always struggle with finding a good one as they either leave my skin red from how hard they are or they don't do anything.
This is very similar to my own inflight pack, but I prefer packs if miscellar water wipes (like the ones from MAC) and disinfecting wipes to fiddling with liquids and cotton.
As you are a travel and beauty lover and seem to have a very similar approach to makeup and skincare I thought I'd ask if you had any must buys from Paris? I'm about to head there for ten days and hoping to pick up some goodies we can't get back home in Aus. xx
I am obsessed with this video
One day during a flight from Paris to LA, I put a sheet mask on my face … the guy next to me was starring at me like I was coming from Mars hahaha epic !
Here’s a quick fun fact: doing skincare WHILE in the flight will actually not be effective, says many dermatologists
everyone’s hopping into bandwagon because korean idols are doing it, but doing a pre-flight skincare routine is the way to go
If you do skincare while on flight, it will already be too late, the plane environment will dry out your skin no matter what you do
But hey! Whatever floats your boat 😀
could you do a review on burt’s bees , whichever ones you have , i’m not sure if they contain pertroluem jelly but they have loads of great flavours? x
I had my first skincare routine on a flight to Australia last Nov and I packed everything I need for the long flight. I think as an alternative to chanel hydra beauty cream, clinique moisture surge could do that trick however I only use that if I won't be wearing makeup but it's good for hydrating your skin.
This is real content. So condensed and helpful.
i love the glossier moon mask, i didn't know it was good for travel so thanks for the tip! love your videos! x
Am I the only one who thought Evian was a water brand??
Lol I literally just take a baby tub of vaseline and slather it on. Greasy, but it works!!
Wow .. I didn’t know u could carry so much in a carry on bag
Yes for anything that doesn’t require touching my face ,, so many germs even after washing hands/ sanitizer ,,
about the bit where you say you already use a clear plastic bag so u dnt have to put it in a ziplock bag they give you, for me when ive gone to gatwick and heathrow airports they STILL make me take it out and put it in their ziplocks! its crazy
i moisturize and drink like crazy on flights and yet noone else ever does???? my mum and aunt drunk one tiny bottle on an 10 hr flight 😫
Your videos are so soothing! Question about the clear bag, have you ever been asked by TSA to put it into one of the bags provided at the airport? I'm always scared I'm going to be asked to throw some items away because the clear bag shown looks bigger than the little baggie 🙁
Oh but you look so beautiful without makeup, I might scare someone. Love what you do and how you do it.
you should totally wash off bioderma micellar water – it's basically a diluted face wash that can aggravate and irritate your skin if left on.
i'm going on an 11 hour flight soon, when on the flight should i do my routine, for best results?
Love the travel minis and like seeing what you pack and why!
Flight attendant with psoriasis here! Drink loads of water, it's the first step to being hydrated. Eat fresh fruit if you can and avoid alcohol, caffeine and sugar-loaded foods. Make sure to hydrate the skin really well in the hours leading up to the flight and use products that lock the moisture in as opposed to just moisturising. During the flight, I suggest you eat first, brush your teeth and wash your face with a light cleanser before applying your heavy-duty moisturiser. Don't forget lip balm and a good hand cream! When you finally get to the hotel or wherever you're staying, take a bath or shower and use your favourite lotion to restore your skin's moisture. If you use medicated lotions/balms like me, make sure to decant the amount you need for the flight into a small container to take on your carry-on luggage and don't skip it!
SPFs~~ i even wear spf on hands, multiple times, on board the domestic flights.
💕💕💕💕
Matilda! Where did you get the baby bottle of Bioderma from? Travelling soon and scrambling to get minis! Xxx
Keeping your skin hydrated during any type of journey is really important and I admire how you review the journey essentials for skin
I don’t do anything because idc oof
I pack things like these on long-haul flights but literally sleep through the entire journey that I don't actually get up to do any skincare lol
Finally! you and I are skincare soul buddy! Lol
my friends always find me weird whenever we go on holidays for bringing my skincare and makeup in flight. ( They are minis of coourse)
I mean who would like to look haggard when your on a holiday?
P.S I am also quite the germaphone inflight I bring my own dettol wipes and wipe down my seats and tray tablets, bring hand gels and use facemask while in flight.
I'm heading to Amsterdam tomorrow and it's my first flight in nearly 7 years. I love your videos so I was super happy to see so many travel-oriented ones! Catch me on the flight with some chic eye masks on haha! Love from Canada! ❤️
beauty ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
matilda: hello there

Thoughts on including SPF in this routine? Do you have a good mini suggestion? I think high altitudes can mean higher UV exposure!
MICILA water ;-;
Do you travel like first class or business because like wouldn't,t it be a little embarrassing to do it next to someone else on the plane?
What a lovely accent.
