I was all “how on Earth is his kit so small?!” but he is effectively a painter isn’t he, mixing his colours. I know he doesn’t like behind the scenes stuff but as with Val Garland, I would FASCINATED to see him work! Gutted the Dick Page series is over Sali.

I remember him saying that he didn't like to conceal all of the purple under Christy Turlingtons eyes because her unique 'discolouration' was better than any product he had seen in a cosmetic range!!! Sali loved this… It made me realise the joy I get from make up is the mix and matching and playing with product not recreating the same mask everyday. I found dick inspirational and it made me want to go and experiment creating more with less product. Thank you for showing a true artist of the make up industry and keeping things so different from the majority of make up content

how come sali doesn't have a welsh accent? i'ed not really noticed before but compared to dicks accent it was quite noticeable
I like the fact that is kit is small. If you have a look at the pictures of the magazines today, it’s all about dewy skin and minimal makeup today. Why would you need 80 suitcases of stuff for that?
As soon as that make up bag opened, Dick came alive, joyous to see somebody so in tune with their craft. What I wouldn't give to have him look at my face and work his magic. Sublime.
I love him, he is so laid back and chilled. I totally get why he likes a small kit, wish others would do the same.

This three parter was stunning – Dick is deep. Dick reminds us of how MU & beauty is supposed to be and I learned so much from this series not just as a MUA but as a human being. Having just seen the chats with Sir John it’s comforting both these superstars are pushing women to accept and love the faces we’re born with. 🥰
