Hi Everyone!

I hope you enjoy this video. I wanted to up the ante and offer both in-depth information on the product in question and total transparency for you the viewer.
When Clarins originally came to me to talk about the Double Serum inclusion in a video, I pitched the idea to them of being the first to try this new format, where the ‘sponsored’ part is the new launch, but then it continues with my long-time favourite products that the brand have no control over. A Brand Overview. I will absolutely always, and have in this case, trialled the newness for a long enough length of time to form a solid opinion on its efficacy. I have never and will never say ‘Yes’ to working with a brand on a product that I have not seen/tried/tested/approved.

The new Clarins Double Serum launches today, Sunday 27th August, nationwide. Further information can be found here: http://www.clarins.co.uk/double-serum/C070400090.html

My All-Time Favourites:
This list could have been so much longer, I’ve used Clarins for nearly 30 years. The Hand Cream, shower gels, Eau Dynamisante, all get honourable mentions.

Alpine Milk Cleanser – suitable for normal/dry/dehydrated skins – http://www.clarins.co.uk/cleansing-milk-with-alpine-herbs/80006435.html#start=1

Gentian Cleanser – suitable for combination/oily/dehydrated skins – http://www.clarins.co.uk/cleansing-milk-with-gentian–combination-oily-skin-/80006545.html#start=1

Masks – http://www.clarins.co.uk/sos-face-masks/

SOS Pure (green) – used to be Pure and Radiant Pink Mask – everyone I know in the industry owns this product. You won’t find me spending £50 on a clay mask while this is still available.
SOS Comfort (yellow) – nourishing/dryer skins/skins that need a cashmere blanket.
SOS Hydra (blue) – skins that have had the life (water) sucked out of them.

Oils – http://www.clarins.co.uk/face-face-treatment-oils/270/

Blue Orchid – Dehydrated (blue – see what they did there?)
Santal – Dry/Think Sahara Desert.
Lotus – oily skins that think they can’t use oils – check this out and have your mind changed.

SOS Skin Repair Concentrate – suitable for anyone who feels like their skin has taken out a temporary restraining order against them – http://www.clarins.co.uk/sensitive-skin-skin-beauty-repair-concentrate/0031810.html

Tonic Body Treatment Oil – four pregnancies, no stretch marks.

Comfort Lip Oils – impossible to pick a favourite, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the mint (blue) one! – http://www.clarins.co.uk/instant-light-lip-comfort-oil/80029156.html

  1. Hey are you per chance wearing Clarins foundation in this video??? Clarins Skin Illusion? Was wondering if I should buy it or not.

  2. Hey Caroline I loved your video so much that I have my first Double Serum (love it!), SOS (brilliant), Mint lip oil, and decided to take the plunge and got the Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation too . thank you

  3. Absolute adore you and the way you get to it so simply! I love clarins from head to toe! but lacking experience how and when to use each item – any recommendations on a VERY oily forehead and nose but with a dry between eyebrows and around chin and mouth area andddd to top it up with large open pores on cheeks 😭help please have you tried the new instant poreless? And the new skin illusion foundation? I love and still use the original skin illusion foundation but scared with the newer formula don’t know why they discontinue what works!! Also to note my skin is terrible with oily items and silicone based items… I need to get myself sweat proof for holiday in the sun which is worse for my skin… more oils! And I go red a lot lol please help xxx

  4. I love their cleansers, for my bearded face, the Double Serum is awesome. Yes, I am one of those boys who use Clarins, and it's awesome.

  5. I’m using the double serum but what Claris moisturiser would you recommend I am 72 and I always used Claris then a few years ago I changed to different creams and serums I have been using Elizabeth grant and I have found it good I do have some lines but not too many and I have to say I have a very good neck and I recommend deciem neck balm

  6. No one seems to have noticed that they've taken the hyaluronic acid out of the new Double Serum formula without telling people – bit sneaky, as that was the main ingredient they uses to market the first formulation….🧐 It's disappointing, as the original formula was like a hyaluronic serum with a bit more umph to it – perfect for winter skin. Won't be buying the new one, sadly😪

  7. Thank Goodness because I just got back from john lewis with a 30ml bottle ! 👍🏻😎 I miss eye contour balm

  8. I bought it because everybody said this is the best. It is so nothing that I do not have words to explaint it. Does not worth any money!!! Doesn't do anything extra to skin!!!

  9. Hi Caroline
I'm going to start by saying I have never commented on any you tube videos before and I watch a lot of them but only subscribed to my favourites ( you are my new fav) secondly I want to say that I love your passion and enthusiasm for this brand🥰 you are so funny aswell and make me lol🤣 I was a estee lauder girl/lady for 10 years😏 being 47 now 😜 but did a massive manoeuvre over to clarin just after Christmas 🎄🎁 went to a clarins counter with £250 and got my basics. It's the best move I have ever made for my skin😊 I'm yet to try any of the makeup and body products. I also noticed that clarins cosmetics girls on the counters are very well trained, knowledgeable, professional and generous with there free little mini samples which make you excited to try other new products from the range. So all in all it's been the best experience for me😍 I'm so glad I took the plunge 💗

  10. I understand that this video was posted 3 years ago. Are you still using the same serum until now? Thanks. 😊

  11. Late to the party here but have wanted to treat myself to a nice skincare range after my skin has had a marginal sense of humour failure with Cerave. Have picked up a whole new range in the Black Friday sales including the advent calendar. Can’t wait until I can open them. Thanks for your video xxx

  12. Just turned 40. Used to work for Clarins and used the brand since I was in my early 20s. I definitely need a good serum now! Only ever used moisturizer mostly. (Environ Super moisture +) love Clarins!
