  1. This is actually how I clean my foundation brush. I smear it with olive oil to loosen the make up and then I wash the olive oil out with Dawn dish liquid or Castile soap, which ever one I have handy. It's nice to know this technique works with beauty blenders too 🙂

  2. Thank you! I never would have thought about using oil for cleaning. But it is actualy not that on-logic (sorry, english is not my native language and I'm tired :s) but I think you will understand 😉 Thanks! lover the blue Make-uk up btw looks great!!

  3. Is this cleaning process ok to used on Brushes also? I have a few brushes I can't get the staining out of. Is there a video on cleaning your bushes? 😊 liked the cutting your blinder up.

  4. What I use to clean my sponges and brushes is oil free eye makeup remover. Any brand works fine even the generic brands. I do that a couple times then use regular hand soap and it leaves the sponges spotless.

  5. This is the best cleaning method I have tried for my Beauty Blender! Thank you!! I used coconut oil and because I didn't have any of that type of soap, I just used my trusty blue Dawn. My beauty blender looks brand new!

  6. Thank you so much for the video. This is thee best video I've seen on how to remove makeup from sponges. I've always used Dr Bronners but I will definitely have to add the oil!! I also use the Bronners Bar soap and that works well too!

  7. I use cheap hotel bar soap. I have the white BB sponge and the real technique sponge and with the white one it comes clean with this stuff in about a minute. I clean mine right before using it and it's pristine white when I'm done. I use mine for everything, from moisturizer, primer and foundation, to contour, blush and powder. it always comes clean. And there's no harsh smell, or destruction of my sponges. I've had my RT sponge for well over a year and it still looks like new. My BB sponge is about a month old and with daily use it still looks like I bought it yesterday. My elf blush did take a little elbow grease to get that stain out but those blushes are very pigmented and after two washes I had a perfectly white sponge again. Plus the soap was free. I stocked up while I was at a Hilton express and so I'll be set for years. lolz

  8. oh hell yes that means the soap has more sents that's awesome and I found a place online that sells it in Australia, screw getting that expensive beauty blender cleanser they say cleans it we saw the proof when you cut it in half, and I'm pretty sure those ppl on YouTube that experienced problems either the beauty blender was faulty or they didn't deep clean it enough, I guess the oil makes sense cause with some makeup they say use oil based makeup remover to remove makeup and this hack is so much cheaper although it would be hard to tell if something was wrong with the black beauty blender pro, seems like a good way to clean, good video now I just need money for makeup and the rest lol I have to go study so I can get a better job then working at a supermarket doing the same thing, I'm sick of it and I only 6 hours per week but that's more then some ppl get, others don't have a job I guess but I need a change, I wonder if you've tried lipsense yet haven't gone through all your vids yet though

  9. Thanks Zabrena! That really worked!!! I thought mine was hopeless! I had sprayed Fix+ on mine to moisten it and man did it stain it, but the oil got it right off!!! Thanks SO much!!!

  10. I just did this with olive oil and OMG, it worked amazingly! I'm gonna do the same with my brushes! Thanks a lot for the tip!

  11. I’ve also used (dual-phase) liquid makeup remover, first, then Dr Bronner’s unscented liquid (baby) soap. Works fine, too. Another method I’ve tried was just rubbing the sponge on a Dr Bronner’s bar soap. This one only works well if the product on the sponge isn’t very thick and “waterproof “ or “water resistant “…. and hasn’t been sitting in/on the sponge for long.

  12. I used micellar water (in place of the oil) and it worked really fast! The stains were gone after I followed it up with soap. I figured that if micellar watee can melt away make up from my face, then it can also melt away make up from my beauty blender.

  13. I just tried this using jojoba oil and dawn soap. Besttttt method ever! Thank you!

  14. Great video! I own about 15 Beauty Blenders. I only use them for liquid foundation. But, the stains just don't come out. I use the Beauty Blender Solid Pro Cleanser bar (the black one $45), and it does not remove the stains. I have used their regular cleansing bar (the white one) and still the stains do not come out. So, I am looking forward to trying to use an oil first and see if that works. Thanks so much!

  15. Thank you so much for posting this video. It removed the stains on my beauty blender that was bugging the heck out of me. Now it’s stain free!
