First, I want to say I absolutely love your videos💕 I'm just beginning my transition into the green beauty community and find it very overwhelming at times. I have had my eye on a lot of the 100% Pure products but now I am very curious to know the reasons you dislike the brand. A brand video on them would be great. Hi – recently found and am loving your channel! My question is: I love the idea of apps like skin deep and think dirty helping me make a decision about what is safer to buy. (Although mostly I Try what youtubers like yourself recommend.) Recently I have stopped using these apps as much because I am just just not certain what to trust. So – thoughts on if these apps are any good and, if so, which do you recommend?
I have to say I really enjoy the 100% Pure body scrubs. I have the eucalyptus one right now. It's a salt scrub. Works really well and smells amazing. I've tried others but get disappointed too. I usually just order the "scent of the month" so I can get a discount because they aren't cheap. But the containers are huge so it seems worth it. I want to try the coconut and the vanilla ones next. And I agree the DeeP Steep ones smell way too strong. They have "aroma" in them. I emailed the company about this and was sad to find out some of the scents they use are synthetic … Hence the smell. What a disappointment!!
Have you tried the bare bones body deodorant? I seriously think it's my holy grail for the summer. It's in a stick form and coconut oil is the first ingredient; it melts so easily since it's so hot now in NYC. I'm with you in the meow meow tweet deodorant; I have the no baking soda version and it's not working for my smelly pits right now. I also think it's because I'm sweating more profusely since its summer. Winter time, it was fine in combination with the primal paste. I still need to try me some innersense shampoo. So late on that bandwagon.
I love empties! I highly recommend Happy Fawn Organics Creamsicle Sugar Scrub! It's handmade in Oklahoma, really affordable, and works great. I'm normally hesitant to by cosmetics from etsy shops, but I actually know the shopkeeper from my time in OK. Also check out her hemp and mint non-soap facial cleanser. Its a dang miracle.

An AMAZING body scrub you should try is Odacite, you will love. You don't have to use a lot but it makes such a difference.
Just wanted to say SUPER GOOD HAIR DAY in this video, your hair looks fantastic I made a mental note the first time I watched it and just thought the same thing after rewatching it! I know the hair struggle, just wanted to throw some positive affirmation your way. Also, off topic, but wanted to know if you knew of or had looked into the subscription box Goddess Provisions? I know you love crystals, as do I, and superfoods etc, so seemed like something you might have looked into. Thinking about trying it myself…
I actually find it very hard to find good scrubs, too. Instead, I love using scrub towels. You can find them in different sizes and in different fabrics. The best ones I used so far are some Korean ones I found on Ebay, they are super effective and very inexpensive. The only thing I don't like so much about them is that they are made out of nylon, so I am on the hunt to find a bamboo alternative.
I would love to hear about your all-time favorite products in terms of efficacy and beauty! 🙂 In other words, if you had to start your collection from scratch, what are the items you need to include?
Also I spotted a bunch of Schmidt's deodorant (jar + stick) in all different scents for only $3.99 at the TJ Maxx on Newbury. I'm currently trying the lavender + sage jar to see how it compares to the MMT jar deodorant I have since it's a much more affordable option. So far, it's been really effective!
My husband has Dr Bronners shave gel in peppermint scent (I think) and I really like it!

Just catching up on youtube!! I skimmed the comments but didn't see anyone recommending body brushing. I hate scrubs and have been dry brushing for oh 5 years now?? Summer I dry brush before shower, and after shower I use the One Love Organics body serum. Winter I body brush and then rub down w either jojoba or coconut oil and then shower followed by serum. It's amazing.
Lotus Wei has delicious body scrubs infused with flower essences. Super natural! Aveda Carribean Therapy scrub is good but not very natural.

May I ask if you ever have issues with the application of the zuzu luxe liquid eyeliner. Mine often won't apply properly and looks like I'm removing the line rather than creating one if that makes sense. I can't figure out why that keeps happening. I haven't been using the primer so maybe my eyelid is too moisturized.

I've spent the last month or so reviewing the ratings on good guide.com to see what is highly recommended and what is not. ??? For ya!!! Do you review the ratings and at what range do you feel comfortable with using?? Are there only certain number ranges that you use?? 2017 is where I will be making my change in skincare and cosmetics, but mostly interested in skincare as I do not wear a lot of makeup. I've recently purchased some of my subscribers rave reviews, but upon ranking them in their levels of toxicity not all of what I've been seeing is recommended by the good guide.com Some, and I will use dessert essence as an example states: that they are sls free, but then you see sodium Cocoa Sulfate (coconut derived) listed in the ingredients…… Which is still Sulfate. What's your thoughts on this?? Isn't plant based sls still a no no?
Also, do you do co washing??? If so, would love to see a video on it. Loved the Alba review. I was curious about that. Will use my $$$$ somewhere else where the product is greatly recommended. I'm starting to like oils and balms. Have tried the cocoons sample and I just love it….not the price though….. But it truly is very lovely smelling and hydrating.
