(This is not the recipe used in the video but is one that I love. Our regular line of soaps do not contain palm oil. If you you want a palm free recipe, play around with adding more butters and/or olive oil.)

30% Lye Concentration
6% Super Fat

40% Olive Oil
20% Coconut Oil
10% Palm Oil (I look for Palm that is certified by Palm Done Right)
10% Rice Bran Oil
10% Castor Oil
10% Cocoa Butter
1tsp ppo* Sodium Lactate

*Per Pound of Oil

I soap at room temperature – which means the oils and the lye solution are in the 65-75 degree range.

Missouri River Soap is not responsible for any outcome that results from testing this recipe. Follow all safety precautions when handling sodium hydroxide and making cold process soap.

  4. Question: Hi I was just watching your prosecco body scrub video from 2019 and I was wondering if you have a tutorial video on how you made your label design? I have the app downloaded but I can't seem to figure our how to 1 add different images to stack or add text. Please help!

  5. Can you put normal milk like you use in tea or coffee, or does it have to be coconut milk?.

  6. Hi Holly! Love how ahead of the game you were this year with your Xmas soaps in September! #soapinggoals quick question… how much coconut milk do you add? U do a percentage of oils or total batch? Thank you so much for sharing your process with us!

  7. Watching you make this soap was eye candy! 😍🍬 I'm so happy to have a bar of this lovely soap, and be able to watch it be made! Omg, I do the same with random smells, what is up with that for us??? Always baffles me. This soap looks so pretty, and it smells so amazing love it! ❤💗🤍

  8. I love watching you make soap. I've always been afraid of making cold press soap because of the lye but you make me want to change the way I make soap. I use the melt and pour.

  9. When you add coconut milk to your soap does it aid in the foaming action ? I don't use any milk in my soap, what are the benefits of using coconut milk ? Thank you in advance.

  10. I just love how CLEAN you keep everything throughout the process. Just for that reason have to order your soaps🙂🙂
