***ESSENTIAL OIL SAFETY***
The information provided in this video is not meant to diagnose or treat any skincare conditions. I am NOT a professional, just a girl solving my skincare concerns naturally. This is my personal skincare regimen.
Please Remember…
~Essential oils MUST be diluted. NEVER use “neat” on the skin.
~These are highly concentrated plant oils and can cause HARM if not used properly.
~Some essential oils are NOT safe to use if you are pregnant. Consult your doctor first!
~Consult your doctor/dermatologist before starting an oil care regimen.
~Doing a PATCH TEST before using a new oil is recommended. ALLERGIC REACTIONS can occur. (i.e. I’m allergic to castor oil, it causes me to break out in poison oak like hives).

Great video Christine!! I would love to see a video on how to get started using the all natural oils…like what you would recommend that we purchase to get started…there are so many oils it gets confusing and overwhelming…so i am kinda stuck on what to buy to get started… ♥♥
I always tend to cross reference several, when gathering information I never like to just trust one source. But better than trying to list them all here, I'm planning a video sharing some of my favorite books.
After I soften them in the warm water and give them a few squeezes they're super soft, but always feel free to do whatever works best for your skin. 🙂
I always try to reinforce that people need to consult their physician before using essential oils in their regimen. These are highly potent plant oils that can do harm if not used properly or used by someone who shouldn't be using them. So many people have asked me to share my skincare and how I use my oils, so this is it. It's certainly not for everyone.
Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to check those out! xoxo
Paula Begoun doesn't like any kind of natural skincare lol. I'm pretty sure she prefers that people just buy her products. Which is fine, I have a good friend that uses her line and likes it a lot. I tried to follow her website last year and got no where with my skin. So I had to trust my instinct, break away and go in my own direction. 😉
Loved the video! I really love watching your videos!:)<3xoxo
Yay…another great video:) btw I use egg just the white part and for dry skin use the yolk for my mask add a pure honey and wallla its great for oily skin and i found that it will make your skin soft and lift your skin without a niptuck:) and great for getting rid of white/black heads. Aloha!
What kind of oatmeal? Is it roll oat? thanks. 🙂
Im loving all the natural products and the tutorials!! Im also trying to transition to organic and natural items.Food and beauty. Please keep sharing all of your wonderful tips and ideas. Take care 🙂
I really do love the skincare videos and the purging videos (especially those because I keep way more than I should so it's quite inspiring) but I miss your makeup videos 🙁 I miss watching your tutorials and your favorites and stuff. I admire that you aren't buying anymore makeup, but I miss watching those kinds of videos. I value your reviews and I use your tutorials for inspiration all the time!
Thank u, great ideas, great advise. -.-
This is a wonderful video! I love it! Thanks.
Can't wait to try!
you are beautiful 🙂 , nvm what other ppl say
well isn't that nice. that's no fun for you. But there is no need to be mean to Christine. I understand free speech and everything but was that really necessary?
@GraceKelly7 i 100% agree
Yes, this treatment works. I usually do it with camomile or with linden blossom (I'll try lavender next time). Then, exfoliating with salt, and Night Oil Treatment from Clarins or serum+moisturizing.
soo godd thanksss for sharingg love
I use to steam my skin .. but somehow .. got away from it. This is a good reminder to do something good for myself 🙂
will try it, definitely, thanks for sharing:)
Paula Begoun actually has a natural skincare line, which uses many obviously natural plant oils and extracts. She cautions people to be wary of some natural products, because so many people think that just because something is natural, it can't be harmful or irritating. She supports her information with current research, and has hundreds of recommendations of other skin care/ makeup products, not just her own. I guess its all about sharing of information and ideas, everyone is different 🙂
Sounds great, I love chamomile too!
Aww Thank you!! <3
Oh no this definitely isn't for everyday. At the end of the video, I recommend for maybe once a month or so.
I use old fashion rolled oats. 🙂
Thank you so much.
As always, a wonderful Video.
i have cystic acne, wouldn this make my skin more sensitive?
Thanks gorgeous! It's by the Heritage Store, I buy it at vitacost. Super inexpensive and works wonderfully as a gentle toner. xoxo
I can't speak from personal experience, as my cystic acne cleared before I got into facial steams. But to share some of the research I've done on steams, I've read both good and bad things regarding steaming and acne. Most sources agree facial steams help soften the cysts, reduce the size and bring them to a head. While others say it can lead to more inflammation and clogged pores. My advice would be to check with your dermatologist first.
Thanks for the tip, I always find it fascinating to know what oils the high end companies are using. I've noticed more and more beauty companies getting into oils. I have geranium but I haven't found hazelnut oil yet, I'll have to order it online. 🙂 xoxo
Hey Christine! thank you for another great vid! hey I have a question,do these two steps help at all with larger pores? Will it help shrink them over time?I just hit my local health food store and picked up some of the oils you use and I'm going to start trying out which combinations work for my dry skin
xoxo Michele
