Emirates Palace is a hotel that opened in 2005 at a cost of $3 billion. Officially it is a 5-star hotel, but due to its luxury it is considered a 7-star hotel. The site covers 1 million m², and the building’s east and west wings are more than 1 km long. Furthermore, there are over 100 domes, including the central dome that is over 70 meters high, and over 1,000 chandeliers. It also serves as a state guesthouse, with a VIP gate that can only be used by state guests and members of the royal family.

You lost me at “climb the stairs” to the hotel. At that level and price, they better find a way to carry me up those stairs.
Except for the unnecessarily excessive use of gold, I don’t really see anything that fantastic or out of the ordinary about this hotel. It just looks a newer Mandarin hotel.
It looks cheap and tacky with absolutely no class at all, just gold and glitter everywhere.
