Can you ask Adam where he got his Milhouse tshirt?
We have 3 grown girls in a house with 2 grown boys. In a 'normal' world we girls get to leave the house and escape the horrible boys but instead we are stuck with them as we are having to turn our comfy living room into an office to work from home leaving just one other room downstairs as a shared space.
We are in desperate need of a pampering care package to take the edge off the stinky boy situation 😃
I would love to be able to give my Nan a package. She has recently suffered from Lung cancer and recovered Yay! She got her results in lockdown. But this week after being at home for 2 months without leaving the house has ended up with Pneumonia, she is feeling much better after some TLC in the NHS but is still in hospital. My nan has had such a rough year and I just feel so terrible on her.

This is such a lovely idea! Big thank you for this!! I would, of course, love to nominate myself haha but I feel that my boyfriend's sister could do with it a whole lot more. She is pregnant with her first-born, finally. (Don't know how personal I should get but just wanted to put it into perspective really) After a trial of really unfortunate miscarriages and heartbreak, she has finally been able to concieve through IVF! So, through all the hormones and mix of emotions, I think she would really love a good pamper. She really is the sweetest, most kind and generous person and really deserves a chance to show herself some love! x

It's so hard to think of who I want to nominate because there's so many special people in my life. But the person who comes to mind is my best friend, Kelsie. She's pregnant with her very first baby and it is incredibly exciting! Being pregnant under normal circumstances is a challenge, but right now it is especially rough. She isn't able to visit her family, who lives far away. She's extra nervous about getting sick because a new mommy's immune system is weak. She also just found out the gender, but wasn't able to have her husband come with her. In general, things are rough for her! Especially because this is her first kid and she's missing out on things like baby showers and celebration. I would love to pamper her a little bit and give her something to feel more loved.
On a separate note, I loved all the Animal Crossing content. No joke, today on our one sanctioned walk, I saw a flower and said "oh this is really hard to get in animal crossing" and my boyfriend died. I'm a little too obsessed!
I’d like to nominate my friend, I’ll call her Gemma for privacy reasons. She recently got her bank account hacked and lost a lot of money 😞 she’s been spending lockdown alone and has been feeling really paranoid, isolated, and anxious lately. She’s also been furloughed for months which just gives her more time to overthink and stress. Something like this could really take her mind off things. She’s such a sweetheart and deserves the world for what a good friend she is to me. I wish I could go and visit her to give her a big hug and hang out like we used to, but for now video chat will have to do! I’d like to nominate my best friend Sophia, an NHS Pharmacist in a hospital. Pharmacists are currently working at the forefront of the Covid efforts in hospitals but are the often forgotten key workers and miss out on the food and gifts that are donated to hospital staff. My friend has been working so hard in an areas that’s been really heavily hit and I’d love to be able to show her how appreciated she is. She’s also been doing a lot of hand scrubbing whilst at work and I know her hands are suffering so the butts bees hand creams would be perfect! I’d love to nominate my housemate and best friend Abi! We are both newly qualified junior doctors who have been graduated early to help reduce the pressures on the NHS. Not only has this meant missing out what was described as ‘the best summer of our lives’ and graduation, she’s also been sent to a hospital away from home. Unfortunately she doesn’t have many creature comforts she could take to the hospital accommodation so a care package might make her feel more at home during this crazy time

I would love to get this care package for myself. 2020 has been a particularly rough year for me as I've been burnt out for the first three months. One week into the new year, I had to call in sick to work cause I really just couldn't do anything anymore and my brain felt like mush. Slowly but surely I've been picking up small things and getting back into the swing of working. I'm now almost back at my normal of 40 hours a week just in time before I finish my traineeship by the end of this month. Then I will be taking at least a month-to-month break before I start working anywhere else just to give myself some time re really recharge without any pressure whatsoever. I could really do with a pamper kit like this during that time and I want to share it with my mum cause she's been there for me through it all, always encouraging me and being positive ♥️

I'm nominating my mum for the care package. She is the strongest person I know, my brother was taken from us too soon 10 years ago this year, and the 17th May would have also been his 30th birthday. Any other person would be curled up in a ball of defeat dealing with those milestones in this current situation, but instead my mum is continuing to be out in the community everyday seeing her patients and providing them with the life saving care they need, she is the only nurse in her team who has not needed to take time off during this pandemic and so has bent over backwards to see her colleagues patients as well as her own. I think it would be lovely for her to now be cared for and she definitely deserves a treat 🥰

I’d like to nominate my mam for the Burts Bees package because she’s been working full time throughout the entire lockdown, sometimes from home. She’s a key worker because she works in the financial sector. There isn’t much recognition for people in jobs like hers at the moment so I think she’d really appreciate this treat 💕

I would love to nominate my Auntie who has been my nans carer for many years. My nan has dementia which has got progressively worse over the years but she has luckily had the amazing support and care from my Auntie meaning that my nan doesn't have to go into a care home and can be in familiar surroundings. My Auntie has unfortunately not been able to have any respite since lockdown started as for obvious reasons both myself and my mum can't go to see them. I think she would really appreciate this and would give her a much needed pampering 💜
I'd love to nominate my sister-in-law Kelly! She's a key worker; a carer working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. She's working and living on site with one client so she can provide him with all the care he needs, and she does 12-16 hour shifts! My brother – her husband – works away at sea, so she's not been able to see him for weeks, even when he's been home briefly, because she's living away from her home! She's the best sister-in-law, she never complains and always goes the extra mile for anyone and everyone. She also, like me, has real trouble with her skin! I would like to nominate my sister Ellie. She's saved on my phone as Shittitbagsmcgee but I love her and she has had a tough couple of months. Her hen do was supposed to be on the 18th April and her wedding was meant to be on the 30th May. From fighting to getting deposits back and adjusting to working at home she hasn't had the spare second to take for herself and some self care. I live in Leeds and she is in Hull and that hour drive has never seemed so far away. I miss her terribly and I'd love to be able to do this for her. Whilst we're all massively missing our parents she's really struggling with a very painful flare up of endometriosis and battling anxiety at the same time. I’m going to be cheeky and nominate myself! I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and only stopped working last week as I am a key worker for adults with learning difficulties. I also found out last week that my monkey of a baby boy is breech so I am now having to have an elective c-section (which terrifies me) so for the next 2 weeks I am going to try so hard to focus on self care and get in the right head space for my mind and body so I’m ready to welcome the little munchkin into this mad crazy world we are living in at the moment!
I'd love to win this! I was supposed to be going on holiday to Gran Canaria with my family today (likewise haven't seen them since early March even on my birthday which was the first one ever where I hadn't seen any of them). Instead I have cancelled my annual leave and because I am a midwife I have spent and am spending near enough all my time at work bringing new life in to the world for those babies who don't fancy womb-isolation anymore and covering extra shifts where we are short staffed due to illness and self-isolation. I love my job more than anything in the world and I am so proud to be a midwife but I could definitely do with some me time after months of 13 hour day and nights shifts wearing what I can only describe as a spaceman suit, when I next have a day off! I would like to recommend my sister Kayleigh. She has been caring for her two year old son during lockdown, her partner works overnight and during the days to support adults with learning difficulties 🌺 she has recently been diagnosed with Osteopenia (pre osteoporosis diagnosis) due to being a celiac. She has been so inspirational and positive for me (a fellow celiac) and keeps everyone on her toes. She is also somehow managing to support learners with their studies who are based in care homes and work from home! She is an angel and deserves all the pampering and love in the world 🌹☀️
