Dr Bronner’s Magic Soap (Hemp Peppermint) REVIEW 🙂
This soap will make you feel amazing! Try it. You can start with the small, sample size at Target. It comes in a big bottle for $10 at Trader Joes and about $17 at Target. The thing is that you have to dilute the soap w/ water, so you get even more than you think you would.
It works great on my sensitive skin. It helped keep my skin clear.
When you use it, you feel energized and tingly. You can also use this soap, some water, and a wash cloth to take a eco-friendly, less water use “shower”. There are directions on the bottle!
It’s made with Organic Oils and is Certified Fair Trade !
Let me know (in a respectful way) if you have questions or suggestions!
Tip of the day: Floss! Buy a few and leave them all over so that you have no excuse.

Is the almond more hydrating? How is the lavender? 🙂 (I think the Peppermint can be a little drying in winter if used too much in a dry climate– but I still love how clean it leaves me feeling!)
Good luck with the Almond! Let us know how it goes. Maybe I'll try that at some point too. (I've always loved the Peppermint so much, which I started using in the summer, a few years ago, that I never found a reason to switch, but since this winter is soo dry, I may have to try another "scent.") Good luck, Marie! All the best, Madina 🙂
Thanks for the info, iselena. Yeah, I think they're made to be diluted with water? More product, less bottle? I love it! Great for the environment and great for us 🙂 Thanks, again — I will try the almond myself at some point and see.
Marie, are you diluting the Dr. Bronner's with water? 🙂 I think it is made super concentrated so that we can dilute it with water (My other viewer said diluting with water helps, which is what I always do & that the Almond isn't necessarily more hydrating, but it might be less drying– Peppermint is quite tingly.) I am using the baby / non-scented one now in the winter. It's okay/ good. 🙂 I also use Dove moisturizing body wash and the Dove white bars. All the best. Fill us in. I'll use the
I'll use the Almond and report back at some point 😉 Maybe even make a video.
Okay, great. 🙂 You may want to try a Clinique Gel moisturizer. Best of luck! – Madina
I haven't used it on my hair? Well, maybe once — bc my guy friend, who has nice hair, does, but I wasn't particularly impressed. I tried the Peppermint one on my hair. I currently have the baby / sensitive one, so that might be better? If I try it, I will let you know! 🙂 Good luck!
How do you feel about the dove vs. the Dr.Bronners? I used to be a basic guy who used dove for 10years+ but no my skin is super dry and irritated. I've used the peppermint Dr. Bronners, but it was too drying too. I just got myself the mild/ baby one to try out now. I tried many others too, just can't seem to find the right one yet.
Do they have a rose scent, Bronner's? What is Outkast's Roses?
If you use it A LOT over time (and especially in the winter), it may have a drying effect, especially depending on the kind of skin you have. Sorry, you didn't have better luck. But, yes! overtime, using it, I do believe I noticed some drying too! Maybe use a different scent or if you find a product you like, do share. Best!
Dr Bronner does have a Rose scent
I've used both DOVE for sensitive skin and Dr. Bronners. The Dove is pretty moisturizing. You can also try "Winter Care" Dove if you want more moisture or you can try Caress soap, or a more expensive option like Booth's (not too pricey) or, even more expensive, Khiels (to see if they have a product you might like) which is moisturizing + not irritating. Clinique may also have something! (They are fragrance free and allergy tested.)
My sister had gotten severe acne since she was 16. Today she’s 33 and for the very first time ever, the lady doesn’t have acne breakouts. She found the Acne Executioner (Google it) and finally discovered one thing to remove this unpleasant issue. She laughs more, and that is magnificent to witness.
Does anyone know if the soap bar is as good to use on the skin as the liquid one?
I have the peppermint castile soap BAR, do I need to dilute the bar as well, or can i apply it to my hair directly (without diluting)?
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DILUTING THE PRODUCT. If you read the instructions, it says to dilute it. If your skin is drying out, it may mean you are not diluting it enough, or you can try another "scent" (almond, sensitive skin, etc). When I got a bit careless about diluting it properly, my skin did get drier. 🙂
Pretty girl! Thanks for the review 🙂
this is very nice and very usefull and sensitive and really great to use I use it really satisfied with the product it's really magical
