My method is pretty contraversial and I'm sure any proffesional would advise against it but so far its the only thing that has worked for me. Basically as soon as the little blisters show up (when they are barely visible), i pop them gently with a sterile needle. The needle is extremely sharp so all it takes is just a little touch for the blister to pop. First i make sure to wash my hands and clean the cold sore with alcohol. Then i gently pop the blisters with the needle one by one and after each I immediately wipe the area with alcohol before moving to the next one. Ever since I started doing this my cold sores would last for around 3 days before they are completely gone. Popping the blisters in the early stage can really make a huge difference. They key if you are gonna do it is to do it with the proper hygene as soon as you see the blisters forming.
