[Video description: The video opens with a white woman with long light brown hair divided into two big sections over each shoulder. She is wearing a black shirt with blue daisies and flower petal artwork. It reads, “Anberlin Never take friendship personal,” which is a band name and album title. However the hair covers most of the names/wording. She smiles while holding up the bottle which is an amber colored bottle with white writing and a white pump on top. It reads, ” Mise En Scene Perfect Serum Serum Original”. The video transitions to the packaging. The back of the box reads, “Hair essence. How to use: After towel-drying hair, apply the content about an amount the size of a coin on the entire hair and dry, After drying hair, apply on the tip of hair as a finishing touch. Caution| For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.” Ingredient list and distribution info can be read here: https://www.amazon.com/Mise-En-Scene-treatment-Moisturizing/dp/B081JHTPKP?th=1

I open the clear box and pull the oil out of it. I show off the rounded back and the front of the bottle. The video transitions to me showing off how I apply the serum. I show off a pump of the serum on my hand (which looks lighter than it did in the bottle). I rub it between my hands before applying it to my hair. I apply it from the ear down and smile, nodding at the camera. At this point, because this was my first use of the product, I really liked the texture of this hair serum. It’s nice and thick like the formulas of hair oils and serums that I usually enjoy. I apply some more serum to the other half of my hair, then comb the serum into my hair with a fine toothed sparkly blue comb. This is something I always do the try and make sure that the product is evenly applied to my hair. The video ends the same way that the video had started: with me holding up the hair serum bottle next to my head. End description.]

[Video transcript: Let’s do my haircare with the Perfect Serum from the k-beauty brand Mise En Scene. One way that I’ve gotten my hair to grow out so long is thanks to products like this one. Because I use them to detangle, hydrate, and style my hair every single day. Some of the key ingredients in this formula are going to be the seven different types of oils, the royal jelly, and rose water. Sadly though, I ended up being disappointed in this product, and it didn’t work out for me. It left my hair full of static, no matter how many different ways I applied it. No matter the method that I used to work it into my hair. Be it with finger, or a comb, or a hairbrush. It (all) would lead to static, which then caused more tangles, that ended up being really painful. Because the static meant I couldn’t properly comb out the tangles very easily. The only way to get rid of the static was to wash my hair. Lastly, I broke out in a ton of pimples on the back of my neck, and that only ever happens when I use certain hair care products. End transcript.]
