Lush North America fired all their hourly store employees in 2020 after being closed for only 2 weeks. One week later, the US instituted the Paycheck Protection Program. None of those fired workers could receive it, and because they were not full-time employees, they could not receive unemployment benefits.
In one day, Lush generates enough profits from their online store to pay the wages of all its store employees, including salaried managers, for a whole week.
The owners of the Lush franchise in North America are Mark Wolverton and Karen Wolverton. They are millionaires and have not taken salary reductions during the pandemic. They are currently being sued by Lush UK for misappropriation of funds as well as other wrongdoings.

love it! I sleep in a satin bonnet. Lush makes scarves out of recycled bottles. Any chance you could make a slick satin bonnet in one of your super sweet patterns?
Why are the clear containers not included in the recycling incentive?
Hey Lush – some lighter options for classic curly hair would be great! I can use a lot of the Afro hair care line but a lot is too heavy like R&B etc. Also could you make a co-wash that actually is just conditioner? No cleansing properties? Can you also make BIG shampoo without sulfates I am triple begging🙏🏻😫
