I bought the same Cerave lotion and I love it as well! And then I realized that it’s not cruelty free! My body it’s so dry that I can’t find anything to help it. Any recommendations of a good for you cruelty free body cream?! Thank you!!

CeraVe is SO good. The hydrating cleanser is the bomb also. I'm 43 and have just decided I'd rather spend my $$ on treatments and serums vs. moisturizer and cleanser. It's on your face for 30 sec. Totally not worth spending a ton on it.

Great info. A natural toothpaste that I love is from an indie shop that I purchase through Etsy. It’s called VeritasSoapCo. I get the sensitive in Mega Mint. I’m sure the “regular” is amazing too, but my teeth can’t tolerate baking soda. There are tons of excellent ingredients like theobromine (more effective than fluoride), colloidal silver, calcium trace minerals. A whole slew of stuff. Unfortunately I could only purchase the big sizes of the Briogeo… and it was such a fail. I tried the be gentle be kind shampoo and oh boy it's so drying! Also I need quite a lot to clean my hair.. I still have some left ugggh My hair discovery of the year (thanks to Brittany Bathgate) is Davines! Not sure if they sell in the US though, I think it's an Italian brand, but holy moly every product I tried so far is exceptionally great and you don't need much and they smell divine!

I have aging, combo to mostly oily, acne prone skin (fun times). I never had any issues as a teen or in college, so I have really been at a loss as to managing it. I’ve determined a lot of it is hormonal, again, fun times. Watching your video about Curology was the push I needed. During the initial stage I was terrified as my skin needed to go through the purging stage, but ff six weeks and I can honestly say that my skin has greatly improved and much more balanced. I even have a glow and it’s not from having greasy, oily skin! 🙌🏼 After figuring out the right method of application, I am now committed to seeing this through. I actually use their entire kit. I never thought using a mild cleanser and oil free lotion would work, but now I don’t want to be without any of it. My formula is much different than yours, which is the whole point of the customized approach, so I can confirm that is a valid approach to their system and/or approach. Thank goodness I found your channel and watched that video specifically. Although I’m old enough to be your Mom, most YouTubers my age are piling on the rich, luxury based formulas, and anti aging products. I don’t have issues with wrinkles (🙏🏼) yet, so I just want a fresh faced approach to skin care and beauty. Love your authentic commentary and observations. Sorry for the novel, just wanted to say thank you while I had the chance, and maybe be of help to another follower. Ok so I have the same type of skin…not sure if shea moisture is cruelty free, but their baby oil rub or one of the Dr Teals oils…in the shower on damp skin. Then add your lotion😊 this works well for my dry skin!!
Ugh. I ended up spending a HORRIFIC amount at Aesop tonight getting the hand wash and matching hand cream and I definitely am blaming you 😂😂

Love the pink/rose gold looking hair! I’ve been wanting to try the milky jelly cleanser so I’m gonna take the dive! Love everything you’ve ever recommended so if Kackie says its good, it’s good! Do you find the Farmacy cleansing balm leaves your face dry after rinsing? I feel like if I don’t tone immediately after patting dry that my skin feels tight and I have combo skin. It’s definitely not as moisturizing to me as the Eminence Stone Crop cleanser or the Mae Love but those are oils not balms. Have you tried the Good Molecules cleansing balm? I might try that one next. I love my Elemis but it’s not as clean as I’d like. With you on the lip gloss thing too! Love both of those with a passion!!

Have you considered using bar soaps? I’ve started using bar soaps because i react poorly to a lot of ingredients and have very dry skin so like Dr. Bronners is a no no for me. So recently I started shopping from etsy for handmade bar soaps, and a bonus is I can buy based on location so along with being able to decide what I want based on ingredients I can buy stuff that us more local so its better for the environment. Plus the packaging is better for the environment because its wrapped in like brown paper. Also also I have started working on trying to buy shampoo and conditioner that comes in refillable bags – this is where you get sent a pouch and then you put it into a reusable container and send the pouch back and they power clean the pouch and you get a refil from it
