What are your go-to travel essentials when trying to pack light? 🤍
I just bought a very similar backpack for an upcoming flight. Boyfriend and i are traveling to a friend’s wedding, and our plan is to share a checked bag (did this for a trip last year and it worked great) and then have our own personal items. I think I’ll use the backpack as my personal item and pack my wedding outfit in it. I’m always so paranoid about my checked bag not reaching my destination lmao.

Why did you separate the tide to go, hand cream, etc. from your TSA liquids bag? All liquids need to go in the onr quart size

The clothes bit was useful but you packed 3 different bags containing liquids, and way over maximum capacity at loads of places! Your liquids bag might be 'TSA approved' but is way too big for what many European airports allow, plus you also had a separate makeup bag, AND an 'essentials' pouch with more liquids. Many places you need all that stuff out, and in just one 20×20 ziplock bag.
I get so annoyed when security lines are so long because people keep packing liquids outside the allowance because they don't bother to get their liquids ready for separate scanning meaning we all wait while they dig around their bags for stuff, don't bother to check what the rules are, or don't think the rules couldn't possibly apply to them. It slows everything down for everyone else.
