  1. Finally someone who has had the same luck as me with succulents.. I too have killed many as I just don't seem to get them to like me..but I still won't give up..

  2. Water your succulents with a large syringe so that you know how much water you have them and you’re not compelled to give them even more. They thrive on quote on quote neglect

  3. Very pretty collection! The succulent in the white pot you showed next to the haworthia is an echeveria "Lola". Shes a stunner. Most of the haworthia's are pretty good in lower light and for someone who likes to water a bit more. They don't like to stay dry as much as some types of succulents need. You do need to use lighter soil, especially if you just can NOT help yourself and you equate water with love. They need to drain and get air back to their roots or they will rot. I have many of my succulents in pure grit like pumice or even quartzite which is pretty too.

  4. Your frizzle sizzle bulb looks great. It actually gets brown tips after it flowers and is going into dormancy after. You can keep the leaves a little longer if you snip the flowers. But it is just going through its regular cycle. No idea if you have over watered or not enough light but looks pretty good!

  5. Hi🤗,

I just found your channel. I really liked your plant tour. The second small fern you showed in this tour looks like a "Rosy Maidenhair Fern". I have one of these. I put a tray of pebbles with water under each tropical plant and fern. Keep the water level below the pebbles or rocks and refill as needed. I also mist them daily. This will help provide additional humidity for these types of plants. I hope this is helpful. 😊

  6. Plant hauls without names is pointless. Great collection though. And u dont need to be a "delicate lady" to be a lady. But that was funny and sooooo damm relatable. Lollz

  7. There is an app you can download to identify your plants! "Picture This" is one, but there are a few to choose from! I love your collection!!

  8. Lovely plants! I think what is happening particularly with the succulents is 1. They need a very aerated soil, like a specialty cactus mix. 2. The pots are too large and deep for your colder climate, so they are more than likey rotting at the root. They really do only require tiny pots, preferably untreated terracotta mini pots that are unsealed. Unsealed terra help absorb water and expel it through the surface, so they will assist in preventing root rott. Hope some of this info has helped. You can google a 5:1:1 potting mix recipe, that is very good for regular houseplants and provides the roots with lots of air circulation.

  9. A litttle tip on taking care of succulents and cactuses for overwaterers—for every time you want to water it, get a spray bottle and use it on the mist setting and go at it a few times. That’s the technique I’ve been using? Kinda how a lot of them get it in their natural habitats?

  10. You're so cute with your plants. I'm the same way with mine and ppl look at me like I'm crazy! 🤣 But honey your Ponytail palm is actually not a palm tree, it's a succulent. Sorry… 😕

  11. Nice plant collection. New Subscriber Here. I have a plant channel too. Thanks for sharing. Be blessed.

  12. I think your substrate is the no.1 problem with the succulents, try mixing perlite or pumice to the soil (maybe 50%, some succulent do well in 100% pumice), your soil is retaining too much moisture even if you water them infrequently. If you are not changing the substrate, water a lot less, don't soak the pot like normal houseplant do. and maybe just water them once every couple weeks. Also the pot is important, they usually do better a bit pot bound, also terra cotta dries out the soil faster, so they are better. Large pot means more soil to retain water, so they are not ideal.

  13. Hi Stephanie! I just found your channel because of plants! Ponytail Palms aren't actual palms, they are in the succulent family because they hold water in their trunk so don't over water! It's very cute and I love your collection. Good luck!

  14. Take the rocks out of your succas. They hold the moisture in for way too long for them.

  15. Hi Steff 👋 love your videos & your plants🥰 I just made a new channel hope you have the chance to check it out & give me your feedback 😗 I really enjoy watching your videos 👍🏼

  16. A lot of plant care can be learned and a lot is trial and error. Sometimes the instructions don’t work for the specific plant and I just have to change things up until I find the plants happy spot. I have heard from several people that succulents are tricky. I’m going to get a notebook to keep track of my plants and their needs. There are plant groups that can help identify plants. You should get a water meter. They are inexpensive on Amazon.

  17. Hi Stephanie I'm just curious as to the plant in 20:49 your big unidentified plant at the time of this video, if you've figured out what it is and if you still have it?

  18. I'm so glad I found your channel. I am moving from the South to Montana and was sooo worried I wouldnt be able to grow anything anymore in all the winter. You give me so much hope! Yay!

  19. omg!! your snake plant looks like its actually 2 different species! the lighter one is a moonshine sanseveria and the right darker one looks like a whale fin sanseveria!! super cool find 🙂
