Word behind the chair is, its the new Olaplex! and better than Olaplex no 3!
The Olaplex take home line includes Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner, Olaplex no. 3 leave in treatment , Olaplex no 6 styling product and Olaplex no 7 bonding oil.

Great video!! I was wondering about the new Aveda. I love damage remedy, wasn’t sure about the botanical repair. Now I want to try Olaplex. New subbie. You rock!

Just tried the aveda botanical rich mask. I love it. I think it’s best for high porosity hair. I’ve tried the olaplex, I think it’s instant as you stated but I don’t think it helps for the long term. Damage remedy is nice but not a strong enough protein treatment. I think it’s just as instant or temporary as the olaplex. I instantly felt a difference in my hair after rinsing out the aveda botanical mask. Great video!!!!

Idk if thats true but i think olaplex works best on bleached hair, and the botanical repair line works best on heat damaged hair FOR ME:)

Olaplex is heaven sent.
Olaplex 6 and their shampoo and conditioner have dimethicone/silicone while all Aveda Botanical Repair products don’t
I was disappointed with the botanical repair from Aveda when I first bought it.
However; after finishing the 6.7 of oz size bottles of sh/c; my hair has never been this healthy.
I went from blonde to a black gloss. And it was severely damaged.
It feels even softer and smoother than my natural hair ever was. I have no frizz. It behaves like an antihumectant so I don’t have to buy extra smoothing creams but it’s so light so I can still style and it’s hold in place.
I’m in love with this product. You have to let it take time.
It truly does repair your hair.
I use nutriplenish now that my hair is restored. And it’s even shinier and it just keeps getting better. Aveda kills it every time.

The products you were comparing do not serve the same functions. The No. 3 is not really a regular mask, comparing the olaplex No 8 mask with the avena mask would have been fair game. And a leave in is not a styler so it wouldn't have that much hold.
Either way, I was still able to learn something from your video so thank you for taking the time to make it I know it takes a lot of work. I just wanted to point of the difference between these products, so ppl avoid misusing them or have skewed expectations of them 😛

I work in an Aveda salon and I love using the Botanical Repair and Nutriplenish Masques together on myself and clients. It balances hydrating and strengthening the hair.
I’ve tried both and experienced major hair loss with olaplex but Aveda botanical is the bomb with long use my hair is healthy and strong and growing nicely.

I have fine hair and I have been using Opaplex #3,4,5,6 7 for two years. One thing I did notice was my hair was breaking off. The salon I started going to sells only Aveda products. I have been using the Botanical shampoo, and conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and my hair is doing much better and isn't breaking off anymore.

I have tried Aveda botanical repair , then olaplex and finally I get back in botanical repair ! It is amazing !!
My currrrls after using aveda was bomb so I'm surprised it didn't do the same.
